I think it will air, but not until after the "Green Lantern Event" next week.
It will be the last show, air before Thanksgiving, skip the holiday week, and then no one will notice that the show isn't on anymore, or not airing new episodes, until much later in the year when the line-up gets revamped again.
And that CGI Batgirl sequence was bad@$$. I'd totally watch that Batgirl show.
I just wish DC'd give another hero a shot. How many Batman shows do we need? Give Flash, Aquaman, or Wonder Woman a shot. Two of them had live action series, for crying out loud. And Arthur had his own toon in the 60's.
At least Brave and the Bold gave the spotlight to several other characters. Too bad it veered too close to silly too often.

I thought it was a hell of a "thank you" to modern fans. Mostly because of all the in-jokes like Ted McGinley bringing up Married... With Children, the show's producers agreeing to drop the ax, Bat-Mite basically screwing himself over, and that last scene with the props being taken down with Bats giving a serious adios.
Lots of great moments there that made up for the actual 50's and 60's homages which came before.

This episode was a hoot. Crazy in a good way. I hated to see the series end. Loved it. Too bad it went from a darling on CN, being aired repeatedly, to only being aired once a week and repeats never shown.
Ambush Bug was a great guest star. Loved the banter / feud between him and Bat Mite. And Bat Mite eliminating himself was classic.
Hopefully CN will realize the gem it has and run repeats.

Finally got around to watching Mitefall last night. A great episode. Its such a shame that Cartoon Network/WB keeps cancelling these shows once they are hitting their stride. BTBATB was every bit as good as JLU. They couldn't even fit all of the heroes that were shown in each season in that closing tableau.

Its that 65 episode mantra. 65 = 5 days x 13 weeks which is the exact number they need to syndicate the show.
The crime here is that in the old days, each episode of a show would be broadcast several times during the original broadcast year. Both JLU and BTBAB both suffered from Cartoon Network decisions to only broadcast the later episodes once (I think there is one episode of BTBAB that has not even aired in the US, "Birds of Prey".).

The unaired BATB episode is titled "The Masks Of Matches Malone" and was shelved due to censorship issues. The episode is expected to be on the next DVD set, hopefully uneditted.

Canary, Catwoman and Huntress have a big song and dance number about Batman that has some rather risque lyrics. I thought that those lyrics had already been replaced and re-animated but I don't know. I saw it on YouTube months ago, the only thing I remember is one of them singing a line that implied Aquaman wasn't very well endowed and the recurring joke about Flash being a bit too quick on the draw.
Lyrics: Catwoman: Good evening all you gentlemen, mobsters, creeps and crooks Huntress: Men in tights come after you, and still you're off the hook Black Canary: For those who scare and terrorize, it's the dawn of a brand new day All:You scum can simply call us, the one and only Birds of Prey Catwoman: Green Lantern has his special ring (pretty strong that little thing) Black Canary:Blue Beetle's deeds are really swell (but who will bring him out of his shell) Catwoman: Flash's foes, they finish last Huntress: Too bad sometimes he's just too fast All: While all the boys can save the day, no one does it better than the Birds of Prey (the and only birds of prey) while all the boys can always save the day, no one does it better, no one does it better than the Birds of Prey. Catwoman: Green Arrow has heroic traits, that is when you shoot him straight (Hey!) (I'm just saying.) Black Canary: Aquaman's always courageous Huntress: His little fish, less outrageous Black Canary: Plastic Man can expand, becomes putty in our hands All: While all the boys can keep you punks at bay, no one does it better than the Birds of Prey (the one and only birds of prey) while all the boys can always save the day, no one does better, no one does it better than the Birds of Prey Catwoman: Batman throws his bat-a-rang, what a weapon, what a bang Black Canary: Check out that utility belt, sure can make a girl's heart melt Huntress: He's always right there for the save, I'd like to see his secret cave All: While Batman does things in his special ways, he'll do it better with the Birds of Prey (the one and only birds of prey) while Batman always seems to save the day, no one does it better, no one does it better than the Birds of Prey, Birds of Prey (...meow)
