My cousins son, who is 5, thinks he is into Spider-Man, but he's never actually seen anything with him in it. I don't really follow Marvel animation so can anyone recommend some good cartoons for him? Preferably something they can rent or watch on Netflix or something. Thanks guys.

I recommend Spectacular Spiderman. It is a pretty good iteration from about three years ago. I have no idea if it is on Netflix, though. You can buy the season DVDs pretty cheap on amazon, plus I think I have seen them in tru for like $7.99.

The new one, Ultimate Spider Man (i think currenly on XD) isnt as bad as every one said it is- and is probably geared more toward a 5 year old anyway.

I agree with Stewbecca. A five year old may be drawn to the animation style of Spectacular Spider-Man but they will have no patience for the complex story arc. Ultimate Spider-Man will be much more up his alley. It's not terrible and it is easy enough for a very little kid to understand. Not to mention it has goofy cartoony jokes that may seem dumb to adults but probably won't to a five year old.
