I hated the 1st and 3rd Toby Spiderman movies. The 2nd one wasn't bad.

IMO, this one blew them all away. Not too much I didn't like.

The Amazing Spider-Man Hits $521.4 Million Worldwide

ComingSoon.net has posted the box office estimates for the weekend which show that The Amazing Spider-Man has already earned $521.4 million worldwide:

Sony Pictures' The Amazing Spider-Man earned another $35 million its second weekend, a drop of just 44% in ticket sales. The Marc Webb-directed action adventure, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field, has reached $200.9 million domestically. Overseas, Spidey added $66.6 million this weekend for an international total of $320.5 million. That puts the worldwide total for the $230 million-budgeted film at $521.4 million.

The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-ray Features Revealed?

Amazon may have spilled the beans on what the special features will be on this summer's The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-ray. The film will see a release on Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and DVD along with a box set including all three versions.

The list of extras included on the Blu-ray are:
- Deleted Scenes and Alternate Takes
- Audio Commentaries with Cast and Crew
- The Oscorp Archives – Art and Promotional Materials Gallery
- Screen Tests
- Stunt Rehearsals

The 3D Blu-ray offers two more exclusive features alone with two collectible figurines:

- Both 3D & 2D versions of the film

- Interactive 3D Film School with Director Marc Webb

- Collectible Amazing Spider-Man Figurine

- Collectible Lizard Figurine

There's no official release date yet. Don't treat this list as concrete as they features are subject to change before the film's release, however.

Directed by Marc Webb from a script by James Vanderbilt, the action adventure stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.

The Amazing Spider-Man Comes to DVD and Blu-ray on November 9

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man for home release on Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack, Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, DVD, and as a Limited Edition Gift Set on Friday, November 9th. All versions also include UltraViolet digital versions of the film.

The new take on the iconic Marvel Comics character stars Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) as Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, and Emma Stone (The Help) as Gwen Stacy. The film also features Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill) as Dr. Curt Connors, a.k.a. The Lizard, Denis Leary (“Rescue Me”) as Captain Stacy, Campbell Scott (“Damages”) as Richard Parker, and Irrfan Khan (Slumdog Millionaire) as Rajit Ratha. Rounding out the all-star cast are Martin Sheen (“The West Wing”) as Uncle Ben and two-time Academy Award winner for Best Actress, Sally Field (Norma Rae, 1979; Places in the Heart, 1984), as Aunt May.
