Shellhead wrote: My question is, when did Bats meet the Green Hornet in the 60's? It was a two-part episode while GH was on the air. Adam West and Van Williams convinced Burt Ward that Bruce Lee was out to get him so when they went to film the first fight scene Lee lunged at Ward as he was supposed to and Ward ran from the set as fast as he could. Trivia question: What "more famous" masked crusader is the Green Hornet related to?

Jim I had NO idea about that story - that is freaking hilarious. Wouldn't YOU run if you thought Bruce Lee was out to get you? Bwahahahahaha... Best prank I've heard in a long time.
And that is one expensive Batmobile. I would think you could make your own fleet of them for that much...

I would assume descendant. Probably a great grandson or nephew?

Whoa! If that's the one that was in Tallahassee for years, I got a lap dance on the hood of it once. Bachelor party at the old car museum. Couldn't resist. I also have some pictures of me sitting in the driver's seat yelling into the red batphone.

There were a few cars made by Barris for stunts and car shows back then but the "hero" car has always been in his posession from what I've read.
