We told you earlier the latest issue of Empire magazine was going run a full spread on Prometheus, Ridley Scott's Alien prequel (yeah, we have no problem calling it that now). Said spread has inevitably made its way online, boasting more photos from the film. We have a few waiting for you after the jump.

As for the aliens... yeah I wonder from watching the trailer and tv spots... I swear I see things that look or at least remind me of them.
From what I understand, the aliens take on attributes of the host. The Aliens we're used to, look like they do because humans were the hosts. If the host is another species, the aliens look different. I suspect that the original hosts of the aliens in this film were space jockies and that's why they look "weird".

I know I knew that. But I never once thought about it like that, I guess I just consider the Jockies humanoid enough not to expect a difference. Hell even the 'dog' alien in Alien 3 doesn't look -all- that different but I know in comics and novels we get some weird stuff and then in AvP2 there's the 'bear' alien.

Bear alien?
Are you talking about the movie? Because I don't remember any unusual aliens in that one (except the Predalien).
In the second one when the ship crashes in the woods some of the eggs infect some of the wildlife and then the father and son who are hunting get attacked. It's night and dark and it may has well have been a normal warrior alien to be honest, I just suspend disbelief and go "oh hey look, a bear alien" The movies don't really follow that standard of they take on their hosts properties until the films need them to, ie shock value of the predator alien. Because after watching Alien 3, the dog alien looks like a standard warrior to me. But then again the movie's dark.
