September 14, 2010

Andy Fickman has signed on to direct Boy Scouts vs. Zombies, according to a Tweet from Production Weekly.

Little is known about the project aside from its high concept title and that it is based on a horror comedy spec script from Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki, two of the names behind 2008's College Road Trip.

Fickman, the director of next week's You Again reportedly signed on for the Anna Faris comedy TMI just days ago. It is unknown which of the two projects will move forward first.

What is Boy Scouts vs. Zombies About?

December 15, 2010

Paramount has reportedly picked up the script Boy Scouts vs. Zombies by writers Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki.

This is the horror-comedy that Andy Fickman told us about in detail shortly after his name was attached to the project.

Deadline got the scoop on the plot: "The script is in the vein of Goonies, and is about a local boy scout troop that must save the local girl scout troop from a zombie outbreak on an overnight camping trip."

Etan Cohen Takes Boy Scouts vs. Zombies

Source: ComingSoon

March 6, 2012

Etan Cohen has signed on to direct Boy Scouts vs. Zombies, according to a story at The Hollywood Reporter.

Little is known about the project aside from its high concept title and that it is based on a horror comedy spec script from Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki, two of the names behind 2008's College Road Trip.

Back in 2010 it was said that Andy Flickman (You Again) would be taking the directing chair on the Paramount film. He appears to still be aboard the project as a producer.

Cohen is best known as the writer of Tropic Thunder and the upcoming Men in Black 3.
