Much like Warner Bros. Animation's Batman: Gotham Knights was an animated anthology released to coincide with The Dark Knight, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is set to arrive just before this summer's big-screen superhero adaptation. TV Guide has revealed the first still from the project, side-by-side with fan-favorite Nathan Fillion recording his lines, dressed for the part.
In addition to discussing his tremendous love for the Green Lantern comics, Fillion recalls working with the film-version's Jordan, Ryan Reynolds, when they both starred on "Two Guys and a Girl."
The voice cast for Green Lantern: Emerald Knights also includes Jason Isaacs, Kelly Hu, Henry Rollins and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
Warner Premiere has debuted the trailer for Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, which hits Blu-ray and DVD on June 7. The film features the voices of Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan, Elisabeth Moss as Arisia Rrab, Jason Isaacs as Sinestro, Kelly Hu as Laira, Henry Rollins as Kilowog, Roddy Piper as Bolphunga, Arnold Vosloo as Abin Sur, Wade Williams as Deegan, and Michael Jackson as Ganthet.
Warner Home Video has provided SuperHeroHype with a new clip and three images from Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, available on June 7.
The clip features Hal Jordan (Nathan Fillion) beginning his mentoring of Arisia (Elisabeth Moss) as the Corps line up to recharge their rings in preparation for battle with Krona.

I picked up my copy at Best Buy this morning. I went in 45 minutes after the store opened and bought the last Blu-Ray/DVD with the Sinestro figure.
Are these figures becoming super hard to get? I've tried to pick up the last two figures on eBay, but I keep getting outbid. Who knew they would be so popular?

Yeah, it was ... ok.
I liked the "First Lantern" arc, I wish Kilowog's ark would've gotten Ermey for the voice of the Drill Sargeant (since that is who the Drill Sergeant was based on in the comic), and I loved that the Abin Sur arc was the introduction of Atrocitus (although I wouldn't have recognized him if they hadn't called him by name), the prophecies of Blackest Night, and the foreshadowing of the rise of the Sinestro Corp.
Krona was nice although he really didn't do much of anything outside of looking imposing.
The Sinestro figure is a nice addition to the collection as well.
Kinda surprised that Batman: Year One is listed as Summer 2011, and the preview included doesn't show any actual footage, just animatics and storyboards. Grr.
Oh, yeah, got a big kick out of Didio talking about how amazing it was the Frank Miller could tell that story in the middle of the Batman run and didn't need to renumber it to #1, the story was just that good. Very amusing considering what is happening in the company right now.....

Yeah, I realize they were trying to spotlight some of the alien-types that might be getting screen time and.or recognition in the live action film, but they could have at least been thrown into the background or group scenes somewhere.
But with Hal the First and Only Earth GL in the upcoming movie, I could see why they went the route they did so as not to confuse that carry-over audience...
