...is there an in-universe equivalent for coffee and, if so, what is it called?...

Which version?
I don't recall anything in the original and I did not watch the second one religiously but it seemed they always had something to drink, though mostly 'alcohol.'

Sounds about right. I remember in the original they made up their own cuss words and the big drink of choice was Ambrosia. I remember when they blew up a whole dock of it to take out some Cylon fighters. Even I felt Starbuck's pain. I don't remember any coffee type drink though.

Thanks, guys. I did a little more checking myself and it seems the only time coffee was mentioned back in the day was on Galactica 1980 as a new experience for the Colonials.
