The first clip from director Peter Berg's Battleship is online and can be watched using the player below!

Battleship is an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Based on Hasbro's classic naval combat game, the May 18 release stars Taylor Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam, a physical therapist and Hopper's fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper's older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson; Rihanna as Lt. Raikes, Hopper's crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane.

IGN has debuted this new behind-the-scenes look at the aliens in director Peter Berg's Battleship. The video gives you a good look at the aliens' design as well as the performance capture that was used to film their movements.

Hitting theaters domestically on May 18th, Peter Berg's Battleship has released a new clip that, for the first time online, reveals the look of the alien invaders' true face. Check it out in the player below!

Based on the Hasbro board game, Battleship is an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force.

The film stars Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna, Asano Tadanobu and Liam Neeson and arrives from screenwriters Jon and Erich Hoeber.

Saw this -this weekend-- it really wasnt as bad as everyone has said it was-- way too many plot holes to say it was a great movie, and a little disappointed about how misleading they depicted the scale of the invasion and naval battles (four ships on four ships is not a very impressive battle),,but overall I give it a B. Ill probably buy it on Blu ray- I would compare it to Battle for Los Angeles from last year (meaning that the aliens are susceptiable to our modern day weapons)

Just got back from seeing this. Was actually pretty good. Reminded me of the "End of the World" movies run on the Sci Fi channel on Saturdays.
