Based on Hasbro's classic naval combat game, the May 18 release stars Taylor Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam, a physical therapist and Hopper's fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper's older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson; Rihanna as Lt. Raikes, Hopper's crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane.

Saw this -this weekend-- it really wasnt as bad as everyone has said it was-- way too many plot holes to say it was a great movie, and a little disappointed about how misleading they depicted the scale of the invasion and naval battles (four ships on four ships is not a very impressive battle),,but overall I give it a B. Ill probably buy it on Blu ray- I would compare it to Battle for Los Angeles from last year (meaning that the aliens are susceptiable to our modern day weapons)
