 Post subject: Are they making anymore of the Narnia books into films?

I heard a couple years back, Dawn Treader would be the last. I guess they didn't make enough money.

Thats a shame, I was hoping they'd make all the books. I preferred these to the Harry Potters.

As usual, Shellhead gets it wrong. :P

Rights limbo is the problem, not box office performance. Walden Media's rights from the C.S. Lewis estate expired and there is a moratorium on releasing another movie until 2018. The fourth movie was originally going to be The Magician's Nephew but producer Douglas Gresham said he now plans to do The Silver Chair next suggesting that future films will be made independently.
