Neil Gaiman's The Sandman is one of my all time favorite series. DC Comics wants to hook you on it as well and has made the first issue available on line to download and read. I highly recomend it:

I always liked Sandman.....The stories are cool....but it's just got this "feel" to it that only Gaiman can do....I can't really describe it....but the whole series has this weird vibe that draws you in...........
