After being inundated with those promos all last summer, I tuned at the beginning of the season basically to see the airplane crash...but I ended up really enjoying this show much, much more than I ever thought I would. The smart dialog and excellent acting has really kept this series going IMO, and where they are taking this whole thing just keeps getting more and more interesting and freaky. Every week just messes with me more and more - I really can't remember a TV show I looked forward to every week more than this one.

So who else is hooked on Lost?

I'm TOTALLY hooked on that show and so is my wife. I'll be very sad when the season is over. I hope they have some cool extras on the DVD. By the way there is a big story/interview with the cast on 20/20 Friday night if you are interested.

From what I've heard there will be a TON of extras on the DVD. I'll have to check out 20/20 - thanks JM!

My wife and I were watching Smallville at the beginning of the season on Wednesday nights, and figured we could never catch up on Lost, but when ABC re-ran the pilot and a few other episodes early on, we were instantly hooked. My wife is as obsessed with the series as I've ever seen her enthused about any pop culture thing -- she's even a regular now on the Fuselage board...

I'd read in a press release a while back that one of the extras is the "un-aired " pilot of the show which features a very different ending-- the death of Jack! Apparently, Jack was meant to die and Kate would then be the relunctant leader of the Castaways. Of course, then Matthew Fox ended up having such great chemistry with the cast that this decision was reversed.

If you're an Alias fan you'll know that Abrams DVD sets don't disappoint when it comes to extras!

I've seen every episode of Alias, but I've never picked up any of the boxed sets. I'll have to do that some day.

Down to the last episode before the Finale!

"Born to Run" - Jack suspects foul play when Michael becomes violently ill while building the raft. Meanwhile a secret from Kate's past is revealed, the mysterious hatch is shown to a few of the survivors, and Walt gives Locke a warning.

Apparently it is a Two-part Season Finale starting tonight. I just heard an interview with Terry O'Qinn (John Locke) on the drive into work today.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!
