Inthis guy's opinion, of course, but I enjoyed reading it all the same.

Wow, I expected to see a couple of those in there but the others were a bit baffling. No JLA 21, Avengers 4, etc...

But again, this is a pretty subjective topic...might make for a good blog! :D

If I had a blog here, I'd do one. ;)

Peace,

You know, outside of the definitely classic Crisis cover, and perhaps an argument could be made for Amazing Spider-Man #39 (though I'd say it's more a classic moment in the character's history than a truly great cover personally), that's a bunch of rather poor and pretty baffling choices in my opinion. It's like someone just grabbed 8 old comics randomly out of some longboxes and figured those'll do. That's not to say that the covers are bad, there are a few there that I quite like actually, but just that they're far from truly classic best ever material...in my opinion at least anyhow.

Still, as you say, stuff like this is always subjective.

Very cool. Interesting reading. I agree that some of those choices were surprising.
