Looks like WWE plans to get rid of their Muhammad Hassan character due to bad press, UPN not wanting him on TV.
So I am assuming the scheduled 2 pck will also be canceled by Jakks

What I'm hearing is that they MAY move him to RAW, or just kill or drop the character altogether.
I'm on the fence about Hassan... I think they were handling him well at first (he was an arrogant Muslim decrying Western prejudices) but when they went terrorist with him... yikes! The former version of him actually was interesting, albeit a ham-handed social commentary...
Part of the fun of wrestling for me is its absurdity at times... Of COURSE you'd have a heel Arab character in these times... Why else were Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron-Sheik made tag team champs as the un-Americans in the 80s! It's a shame the WWE fumbled the ball on Hassan... What "evil foreigners" are left for people to chant "USA" at?

I haven't heard that Hassan is canceled yet... But you can bet he'll be cherry-picked by dealers because of the controversy if he DOES hit...
