looks like were getting a elite styled andre in a set with a ring. he looks good.

I'm kind'uv excited, I guess. Am I alone in thinking the head sculpt doesn't really look like Andre? The torso artic is clunky.

The face is a bit too long, like the sculptors only ever got reference from Howard Finkel and then tried to adjust it mentally.

That Chest joint really needs some work. Glad this is only a proto and I can't wait to see how the finished version comes out.

Eventually we could get him in his "heel" costume with the one armed singlet or with the Machine mask ...

Now THAT is fantastic. The face isn't that bad - it's more accurate from his later years when he was "bad" Andre.

The articulation though is horrible. Hopefully that will be fixed before the production model. I'd hate for that to be the only Andre they make.

The problem I find with Mattel's WWE Legends is that they take one single photo and try to replicate that. Doesn't matter if that photo is bad, that's all they use.

Which is why Terry Funk looks like he has one eye and Dusty Rhodes looks ridiculous. In both cases they don't look a ton like the person, but they reasonably match the photo that Mattel used on the figure.

Yeah, not the way to do it. I imagine the art of face sculpting is kinda more caricature. Pinpoint and slightly exaggerate outstanding features, etc...

Hmmm, I don't know about the likeness to Andre but it does resemble a kid I went to school with. Except she always wore a bow in her hair.
