I am very unhappy that Mr America is the promotional figure being offered by Jakks for the 22 Wrestlemania tickets and UPCs.

Don't get me wrong,I wanted a Mr America figure more than anyone,he's in my top 5,but not like this.

I would have much prefered him in the regular lineup.I would have bought like 5 of him if he was.Now it seems I may not even be able to get one since I am a MOC collector and don't really want to buy an extra set just for the promotion.And to try and find one on ebay will be madness at the prices the scalpers will charge.

So it's really a lose/lose situation for me.

I really want that Mr America figure bad.

I think the best choice for the promo figure would have been Pete Rose as the Chicken or some other Wrestlemania gimmick.Something memorable.

To many hogans out and they make "MR AMERICA" as the promotion.. WTF!!

THey would have made a TON of money if they have chosen a : Savage, Owen, Razor or anybody that hasn't been out yet..

I'll still collect to get the Mr America but I do think it was a letdown!!

I was disappointed at first.

But Jeremy's logic makes sense.

To do a really sought after character as a promo like this would make a lot of fans unhappy.

Mr. America, a short lived Hogan gimmick, is neat as a figure but will not pleeple that many fans off.

Sure, hardcore Hogan marks might be sa they have to do the promo, but most fans would be more pissed if it was Savage, Owen, Razor or anybody that hasn't been out yet. And Jakks did clearly state that the mail in would be an existing character with new headsculpt and deco.

So I'm not thrilled with the choice, but then I'm sorta glad I don't have to spend the $250 odd to get him.

I sympathize with those who really want this figure, but at least you have a shot of getting him at all. Not like he was a employee only gift or something. Not that any SANE company would do that to collectors

I'm not happy with the promotion, but I'll only have to get 3 or 5 guys I really don't want in order to get the figure. CS9-12 has some great additions...and some poopy ones.
