Crystal Ball question.

Does anyone know if there are plans for a Sasquatch figure?

I have an idea on how to make one, but I hate making a figure that is going to be done. Seems like a waste of resources to me.

I've seen all sort of rumors but nothing official. Supposedly it'll be Sasquatch with a Wendigo variant/running change like the Abomination/A Bomb is supposed to be. But who knows for sure. It's why I've been holding off making one myself.

What would you use as a base for Sasquatch? He'd have to be at least a head taller than any of bucks we currently have. :?:

Just a heads up, most of the Targets in my area have been getting the Hercules, Puck, Angel waves. I was able to add an Angel and Hercules to my collection!
Quick question, is there a variant for the Angel? Does a red costume version exist in the singles pack, or just the TRU X-Men box set?

I have only seen it in the box and it is not the halo version.

Mudd nailed it. Although I was considering adding some beast parts to get around some sculpting because I'm lazy.

I looked at Beast and rejected him for the same reason I rejected him in favor of the SHS version, the uniform. You would still have to add fur over that, unless you were just thinking hands and feet.

I just came up with another candidate; Kenner's Swamp Thing. Even though the basic figure is only 4 PoA, he has the size and the shape/mass, needing only a thin layer of putty to sculpt into fur. He might also make a decent Wendigo, if you can figure out how to attach a tail.

Here is my Alpha Flight to date with the 2 Sasquatch custom candidates in the back. Opinions?

You know that's not a half bad idea there Mudd. I never considered Swamp Thing at all. I imagine that he'd be a much easier sculpting job. I was planning on using Beasts' shoulders and lower legs on the frost giant. However if Hasbro doesn't announce something soon, I might have to steal your idea and give it a try.

I am somewhat anxious to see what SDCC reveals about MU's future. As we all know this year was pretty craptastic for the line.
I'm hoping for an excellent showing, but at this point I have no idea.
What I really hope to see is a return of the Giant and Colossal figures, but I don't think that's gonna happen. With the Thor movie on the horizon it'd be the perfect time for Surtur or Ymir.
BTW anybody have any updates on the Moonknight/Antman 2-pack we were supposed to get last year?

When it comes to getting a Sasquatch figure Ive been looking at the pre legends toy biz one and he seems to fit in very well. When it comes to Mu and this year we still havent even gotten a wave 1. The Nova wave counts as last year.

I believe the Antman movie has been scheduled for next year, so it would not surprise me if the figure was reset to coincide with that.
