To answer your question: it had been rumored, as was the Mr. Fantastic/ Thing set. I really can't believe they are doing that set; the FF have had two ML breakoff lines devoted to these characters, that sold terribly. Hasbro, please listen: we don't need more Fantastic Four figures! They just aren't that popular anymore!

Except that there's been at least 5 Thing figures to choose from, not all of which have said problem (I assume you mean FA Thing? That one was a stinker).

No, I meant the Thing from the last FF wave (with Namor and Mole Man).

there's also a redeco of Ronin as Red Hand Ninja (new head = STORM SHADOW)! and SHIELD two pack. Looks to be Nick and 'grunt' with helmet heads (and his last name is Castle? def Punisher-esque head!)
I think my only complaint about SHIELD is the grey body suit versus the ML5 navy-blue Nick.

also, there is a SKRULL/KREE 2pack! W00T!!
maybe someone can confirm that is Kl'rt/Super-Skrull's head?
he definitely comes with a GREY Thing hand with blue flames(??).
Kree is green accents on silver body, could pass for FA Mar-Vell? I wonder if there is a blue head variant?

also looking at the Forge pics, WHY does he have a BLOND HEAD VARIANT?
I get the Wolvie grimace/scream heads, but regular Forge and BLOND?
is this for a Havok/Iceman/Cannonball X-uniform variant?
(if anything else, that head is just another SHIELD variant figure!)

no sign of Reed/Thing 2pak, thank goodness!

Yeah, that one sucked too. I'm partial to the FF Classics wave one Thing, which looks like a John Byrne Thing. The one from the second wave (the Mike Wieringo one) is pretty nice too. And then there's the one from ML wave 2....

The Skrull is just a repainted Super-Skrull, which is pretty disappointing, actually. But I guess it's nice for everybody that never found one.

The blond head actually goes with Ronin, and is a Clint Barton head.
