Yeah, I didn't realize it was for one day only when I posted that. Still a decent deal @ 50% though.

Here's a video a buddy of mine made that expresses collectors' frustration about not having wave 18 yet... Hilarious.

Eh, I can wait.

I only got Psylocke about a two weeks ago, anyway.

What is with the impatience of people? I swear you'd think they would only be happy if Hasbro knocked out a wave each month. Geez....

I'll get them when I get them.

Once a quarter would please me just fine. However, the current state of affairs you can't blame people for being very dissapointed. And don't get your feathers ruffled.....just because others have gotten...well.....their feathers ruffled ;)

My only thing is that I worry that they aren't coming out. If Hasbro's intentionally delaying them to avoid flooding the superhero toy market, that actually makes sense to me.

Preorders for the Rulk new Avengers team pack (with Thor and Iron Man) case went up on BBTS, the rest of the case is repacks, but something new (kind of) finally.

What flood? How do you flood a dry hole? The superhero sections are barren! 1 Target got a case of Wolverine and Apocalypse. 4 Apocalypse!!! You can't even use him to custom anything!

This is great and sad at the same time. I can't believe we can't even get a new sculpted head for the repainted Hulk into a supposed Red Hulk. I don't believe Thor has ever worn that armor in the comics with blue and again that same undersized IM. Well more money for my customizer to give me a comic accurate Red Hulk. I'm going to have to buy about 6 extra single carded Hulks to get all my Hulk comic variants I want. I betcha Hasbro will find a way to either put Black Bolt on that stubby base that Falcon is on or that taller skinny Darkhawk base because of how the wings fit into the arms. Medusa will be the only newly sculpted figure we will get in a team pack this year. I really hope I'm wrong though. :(

Mudd: I'm just saying that I could see Hasbro wanting to avoid spreading super-hero dollars thin by releasing stuff close together. That idea has some merit to me.

However, the fact that She-Hulk et al aren't showing up ANYWHERE has me worried. Not getting Jen and Wanda is an idea that has no merit to me.

At the same time, Hasbro, thanks for giving me nothing to buy for a couple months. All this money I suddenly have? It's showing me how much I usually spend on your stuff and helping convince me to quit it all together. Thanks! It's like the cigarette companies burning the tobacco farms. The withdrawl hurts, but MAN are those packs expensive.

I don't really think it's impatience when the last wave we got was in November. Especially when the last 2 waves were all repaints and kit-bashes. Don't take my word for it:

Wave 16

No new figures. 5 repaints/repacks.

Wave 17

2 new figures, Psylocke and Patriot. Both of which are lazy repaints/kit-bashes. Psylocke uses Jean Grey's head on a basic female body. Patriot is completely lazy, as he's a complete replica of Bucky's body and Union Jack's head. And 4 repaints.

You guys don't ever hear me doing the "Oh woe is me. I'm the poor disgruntled collector" schtick. I'm just really excited/anxious to finally get some completely new product for the first time in almost a year.

Your area is the complete opposite of mine then. At the 8 Targets closest to me, each store has no less than 5 cases of wave 17 and revisions. They're overflowing to the point that they're on the Avengers' pegs, and on the back of the aisle with the Thundercats stuff.
