I'd lost hope of ever seeing Mysterio. The Quest Begins!

TRU has the light up base Avengers for $10.98. Got one of the 5 Widow figures. Also got Silver Samurai and the ninja figure from the Wolverine line- 2 for $14.49.

Used the Widow figure for a custom so I put the movie Widow on the base.

TRU has ALL Hasbro basic figures 2 for $14.49 this week, I found their flyer. The MU pegs there were bare, but Alco price matches and they still have a lot of figures.

Maybe this is old news, so I apologize if that's the case. But was in the Disney Store with my niece yesterday. They had Psylocke, Hercules, Puck, Nighthawk, and Professor X. Maybe that will help someone. :)

I don't have a Disney store and I still need a Professor.

I had to take my nephew to work today, long drive. On the way back I stopped at a Target I don't normally have access to. They had 9 Power Man/Iron Fist comic packs on clearance for $8.98. Now they have 8.

Yeah, all Marvel Universe 2-packs are $8.98 at Target right now. I drove around this morning picking up some packs. At that price, heck yeah.

There's a Disney store at my mall. I've never been inside but now I have a reason to check it out I guess. But I bet the MU are $14.99 there. All the prices are jacked up at the Mall. I still would like to get that Angel.

I have Angel, but I would like to do several customs from him.

Actually If I recall they were retail-- (I think at most maybe 11.99)- Mine had about 10 Jubes. -
But they also have marvel selects for 24.99- (They had the Hulk on clearance for 14.99 this weekend) - so they arent jamming you too much on price for their non disney store items.

I think it pays to check their every once in a while-- its where I got the Scorpion figure from the Spiderman line- and occasionaly see the rarer figure.

You may even want to check disney store online occasionally-- only have a couple Marvel Selects on there right now (lizard and movie spidey)(only 22.49- cheaper than my LCBS)-- but they occassionally get MU and usually have some kind of free shipping offer.

Yeah, I try to hit the Disney Store quarterly, usually after I hit the Lego Store.

For Marvel Universe fans, changes are coming in 2014. This line will be re-christened simply the Avengers line. The figures will stay they same, same style, same articulation, but they will no longer be called Marvel Universe. One of the reasons for this change is they feel this re-branding will help with the Marvel Universe distribution problems.
. Yeah changing the name from marvel universe to Avengers will solve all their distribution problems. when 3 3/4 figures are $9.99 at retail there is not much that can be done. This looks like the end for MU and legends. I've made my peace With it's demise many months ago.

What about heroes and villains not connected directly to Avengers?
