You know I like the SHS line as well as my kids. MY only complaint with this line is the packaging of one new figues. I look at some of the Hulk SHS coming out and saw that there is a Leader, Doc Samson and Zaxxx figure coming out. Great stuff but they are package with a Hulk figure. At their current price and the fact that the Hulk pacged with them we already have make it waste to buy.

Can someone bend Hasbro ears and tell them to stop doing this.

Also what happen to the Winter Soilder 4-pack. It is no longer listed on their web-site.

Yeah, the reuse of character (even the same molds) gets old but that's just something that happens with SHS. Hasbro has been doing it ever since Galactic Heroes and I'm pretty much used to and have accepted it now. The way I see it, it's how Hasbro can release so many waves a year. It means newer characters more often. Otherwise iwe would have to wait more time between releases. Which is something I'm not prepared to do.

But hey if someone CAN bend their ear on this, great. But unfortunately it's a system that has worked very well for them so far.

Winter Soldier set and Spidey Saves the Day should be out any day now.

I'll get to that as soon as I get Mattel to stop packaging Green Lantern in every other three pack. :D

The Hulks, Spider-Mans, and Wolverines does get old after a while.
However, the above comments are right on the money.

Kids want the recognizable characters. We want the new characters.

Hasbro's doing a pretty good job of balancing out so everyone gets what we want. Sure we have to buy some repaints and repacks as well as some new versions of already released characters. But look at how diverse the toyline already is for only being around for a couple years.

I got an email stating those 4 packs (also the Spidey one with MJ) were delayed and unless I called in my order would be cancelled-- meaning they oversold their expected allotment -- same as most of my G.I. joe preorders) I know they can get shorted as well- but almost 50% of the items I have preordered from HTS has been cancelled- not a good business model.

Is there any good online resource for all the "Hero" lines, in terms of what's been made, what's coming out, etc? I feel like I've missed a few.

I'm still irked that I was never able to find Rogue/Gambit, Kraven & Vulture. I hope they get re-released at some point.

Someone asked about Kraven at SDCC and Hasbro said that set never got released.

Oh. Well, that makes it a little less irksome, then. :D Did Hasbro give any clue if it WOULD be released at some point?

They haven't indicated whether or not Kraven will come out. I'm betting in a 4-pack next year some time. I can't see them making that mold and not using it at some point.

Here is an excellent place to take a gander at all of the "hero" lines:

Just check the database forums under each header.

Each of the last 6 weeks I have received a new email from HTS pushing back the City in Crisis and Winter Soldier 4 packs. Current estimated shipping date: 9/22/08
You are required to respond if you wish to continue your order.
I have seen packaging pictures on other forums.
