Okay, Star Wars experts. Is that Slave One an actual new mold or is it a repurposed version of the one we got during the Attack of the Clones days?

It's the same mold that was used for the TRU CW exclusive.

Count me as one Star Wars fan that's a little more excited for the 3.75 inch product over the 6 inch (though the 2nd Wave of 6 inch Black series sounds killer right now).

Supposedly the Saga Legends lava Vader-packaged figures and Mission Series 2-packs are already showing up at stores on the West Coast, so , yeah, it will be a while before *I* get to see them.

I'm extremely excited for the K-Mart Exclusive Vintage Collection Ewok Catapult set. I'm all over that: http://www.forum.starwars-figuren.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=516

Very Very Very excited for these K-Mart Exclusive Vintage Collection Scanning Crew sets Can't wait to get my hands on these: http://forum.starwars-figuren.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=520

I live by 4 K-Marts. If I can't get these, I'm cracking skulls.

The unconfirmed reports for the future waves of 3.75 inch Black Series have me really hopeful:

http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/content/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=11956

I don't want to get too excited for them until Hasbro can confirm something at SDCC.

The first wave of Black Series 3.75 inch is Ok. Not great. They've already showed up in a retail store in China. I hope they can get them out soon. The state of Star Wars toys has been pathetic for over a year.
I really want that Padme. After looking at the Luke, I think I'll pass. My 30th Ann. Collection version is "good enough" I need a Biggs, so I'll be getting him. I might pick up at least one Biker Scout trooper:

http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/content/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=12007

Ofcourse, all I REALLY care about is The Vintage Collection. It was short-sided of them to "cancel" The VC. The Vintage Collection is what really got me collecting again. It should have been handled a lot better, distribution-wise, but I can't complain about all the beautiful carded-figures it gave me.

There's some other stuff: A Vintage-boxed Republic gunship, Vintage Collection Biggs X-Wing TRU exclusive that (want that one), some class II vehcles, and a Darth Vader Ep.3 4-pack that's actually pretty nice. There's probably a lot more.

My Targets are a pathetic sight right now. There's a Star Wars display , but it's just lightsabers, Angry Birds and those Anakin/Clone Trooper shampoo bottles. Almost no action figures. A few TPM wave Vintage figures at every store but now that the Movie Heroes are Clearanced, there's like, no action figures. Hasbro!

I'm excited about the new 3-3/4" offerings. I'm not excited about the thought of having to look for them.

I saw some of the Vader carded ones at my Target. This is Southern California.

The only one I was mildly interested in was R4 but I passed on them all. They are $5.99

Only the Black series of the little guys will continue to have the good articulation we like, correct?
I can safely ignore the Vader cards.

You should be able to, though I'd still keep an ear on any news about them... Who knows if/when they might throw a completely new Astromech or Ewok into that mix...

Technically that droid is new-- they have removed the middle leg and no longer a BAD body-- but its still a "new" figure-- its an astromech- droid POA never really mattered to them..

I agree, don't totally dismiss the new Vader-carded Saga Legends. I think some Star Wars fans are warming up to them because - in a strange way - they harken back to the 80's Kenner figures. Plus the later waves have more Original Trilogy characters. I definitely want to check out the Stormtrooper and I'm definitely getting the Han Solo.

Call me crazy, but the Han looks pretty good!.... http://www.galactichunter.com/absoluteig/gallery.asp?action=viewimage&categoryid=13415&text=&imageid=98526&box=&shownew=

These are already in stores in California. I wish they would get here , I want to get a good look at them.

I've been waiting for a good-looking 3P0 with silver leg for years. I'll take him with 5 POA if I must.

Even though I personally don't buy 5 POA figures 99% of the time, they're good for kids. If Hasbro can actually keep the two lines going successfully, it might be good for sales and kids.
