Has anybody since a figure #8-#21?
I have yet to see anything from that range. Are they waiting to get closer to the movie before actual from the sequel Iron Man 2 figures come out?

I didn't want to start anything new but these comic series IM figures are excellent. Most of the Targets I've been to have these in stock now. 6.99 isn't a bad price.
So for those that have bought these, is it me or do they look sturdier than the MU figures and beefier.

These are definitely sturdier and heftier than the Marvel Universe stuff. Those figures feel so flimsy that I hesitate about bending their limbs too much. I just display them for the most part.
It wouldn't hurt to see the MU figures going for $6.99, either. That's as fair as it gets for me and part of the reason why I cherry-pick most characters.

Some concept type armors. Yesterday, Walmart at I-10 and Elliot. Endcap thing in front of the toy aisle, and some on the pegs too.

Is this the wave with Fury, Widow, Whiplash, and the removable helmet Tony/Rhodey that I mentioned the other day? I really want that Fury and our two armored friends.

Does anyone know if Whiplash, Black Widow, and Nick Fury will be in the comic series? I didn't see them on the projected list.

They're likely to be movie-based due to having popular actors playing them. Besides that, Hasbro believes that having comic versions included in a movie line would confuse kids... At least that was their reasoning once G.I. Joe hit the cinema screens last year. But we're still getting Black Widow in both ML and MU, so go figure? I guess it depends on the brand. G.I. Joe ditched the 25th Anniversary series in favor of the ROC actors' likeness. With Marvel, they probably figure that anyone picking up Iron Man 2 stuff won't bother with other lines such as MU.

I picked up the movie version of war machine. Love the figure. my only gripe with the 3 3/4 hasbro movie lines are the friggin ball joint hips. I hate trying to align the ball joint just right so a figure can kneel or sit down. I wish they all used the marvel universe style hips.
