I just got Mandarin at TRU for $6.99. They had the entire wave but that was all I could get.

Lucky SOB. I paid 4 times that for him, but I did obtain him back in the summer.

Saw more of these at another TRU today, but no Mandarin. Someone else got to him first. Oh well, I got my Ultimate IM and another Guardsman for a custom I want to do so I am good with this line now.

Picked up Ultimate Iron Man and Comic Whiplash at TRU today-- (no Mandarin though)-- it looks like someone just opened the case as there were 11 figures just sitting on the shelf under the full pegs--
Guess their must still be some cases of these in a warehouse somewhere...

I got the last two of the concept series a couple of days ago at Target. Now I'm just missing four figures to complete IM2: Ultimate IM, Mandarin, Comic Whiplash and Modern War Machine. Hopefully they'll show up on local shelves sooner or later.

If you are a major IM fan and religiously collect this line and thought you were done, guess what, you are not. I saw 3 repaints on Avenger cards at TRU yesterday, 2 of them different from any I saw in this line. Yes, Hasbro is reusing these for the Avengers. Now I am not saying that as a bad thing, it is smart to reuse old molds, saves money, but Cap, Hulk and Loki all got new sculps which look much more cartoony than these IM figures do, so they don't quite look right side by side.

Sadly those are not reissues, those are remolds with LESS articulation, it really makes you wonder what Hasbro is thinking by redoing the old designs but completly retooling them with less articulation, I think a straight repack would have been more respectable.

Picked up Ultimate Iron Man and Mandarin at a Ross and Tuesday Morning store two months ago. If they are stocking at TRU now I'll definitely get War Machine and Whiplash.

It's like I said: Hasbro has decided to try and replicate Mattel's 3.75" success by combining figures no one wants with crappy articulation. Woo-hoo!

I've started picking up more and more of the IM2 figures. At Walmart they are clearancing all their IM figures (3-3/4). They range from 3 to 5 dollars.
They are mostly common ones. Mark III, IV, VI.
I did find the Hypervelocity armor and the Silver Centurion one for 3.00 a piece.
I found the Ultimate armor (concept series) and the Mark V at Ross for 4.99 each.

I was in Pittsburg, PA. The last two days on business and while I was killing time before my flight I went to the mall in Coropolis I think and there was a store in there that still carried the IM2 figures and I found the War Machine figure with the alternate head where he looked like a cyborg sorry guys can't remember what number he was as I threw away the package. They had a couple left for anyone in the Pittsburgh area. Unfortunately no comic series Whiplash but happy to get Rhodey for 5 bucks.

A question about the 6" Iron Man 2 figures, the ones with the Avengers burst in the top right corner... Is the "Legends Series" War Machine the movie style figure? I missed grabbing it when it was out with the movie and picked up the "Legends" version yesterday because it looked like the same thing to my eyes...

I saw one today and passed on it because it seemed a little bit smaller than the Wal Mart exclusive War Machine Hasbro did about 3 years ago. So I'm wondering did I make a mistake in not picking that one up?
