Before you responded, I checked your thread in the trades section. They had a Night Adder, too. Again, chances are quite good that he's gone by now, but I can look while I'm there. Some of the ROC figures were priced at $8, too, while others were $5. Any interest at five or eight?
Oh, and the last place I saw Shipwreck was Ollie's for $5 a few months ago. All they had left the last time I was there was an entire peg full of Tripwire figures, but if there's an Ollie's down there in Hotlanta, you might want to check.

I've never even heard of Ollie's before. Is that a discount store also?

Yeah, it's a bit like Big Lots, but cleaner and with a little better selection. I got my SDCC-exclusive Baroness there. I checked their site to see if there were any down your way, but they don't have stores in Georgia yet.
Got those figures for you. Message coming soon.

Stopped by Marshalls this weekend, and they had gotten the case Family Dollar was getting a few months ago and the army builder revision assortment. Picked up a Ninja Viper, a Cobra Diver, two Vipers, and two Crimson Guards. They also had a Snow Serpent, Air Viper, Para-Viper, Python Patrol Crimson Guard, Cobra Trooper with black mask, Tripwire, and Ripper. They had several Rise of Cobra figures, too, including the City Strike Snake-Eyes.

Congrats on the score CC. I think I may need to put Snow Serpent on my list. I almost bought some from a Hong Kong seller, that had a set of 5 for $29.99 with free shipping. I'm sure a lot of people have seen this seller, as he has some odd sets of 5 with figures that aren't even army builders.

Stopped by a Family Dollar I don't often check last night, and I picked up another B.A.T. for $3.

Yeah, he's in the army builder assortment they've been getting. He was originally in the Cobra Legions five-pack, and then he was part of wave 4 of the 25th Anniversary line. That jetpack he's wearing? The flame effects from this and this look great with it. The latter has to be modified just a bit, but either will do a lot to enhance one of those Air Troopers.

I had never seen or heard of the cobra air trooper before just now. It looks like a cross between a Star Wars Storm Trooper and a run of the mill Cobra Trooper. I think it looks pretty cool. I'll be adding that to my want list now.
And CC, I really like those flame accessories.

My local Ross restocked with wave 5 vehicles, and I picked up another Stinger and another Arctic H.I.S.S. for nine bucks each. Check your local Ross again if you're still looking for these. alcinde4 wrote: And CC, I really like those flame accessories. I'm getting a three-day weekend started, and I plan on using some of the extra time to take photos of recent additions to my collection. When I do, I'll take some shots of Air Troopers with those flame bases so you can see how they display.

Is the Stinger a straight re-release or did they update it at all?
I just might have to snag one of those. I try to limit my GIJoe collecting, but I have a weakness for the Stinger design and regretting selling my original back in the 90's.

And CC, I really like those flame accessories. They were from the Marvel comic book series-- within the first 12 issues or so if I recall...

It's similar to the original, but this is the body it uses. It's a little shorter than the 2008 VAMP. And alcinde4, here are some photos of those Air Troopers.

CC, you are one serious army builder. Do you have that many of all the different cobra troops that could be considered army builders?

alcinde4 wrote: CC, you are one serious army builder. Do you have that many of all the different cobra troops that could be considered army builders? Umm... I had to do a count to figure out all of this. I actually have another 20 Air Troopers, plus the 3 that came with the C.L.A.W.s and 7 more with the alternate helmets that make them comic-style Cobra Officers. I have 70 comic-style Cobra Troopers from the Legions pack, 2 Cobra Troopers from the first five-pack, 15 Crimson Guards, 5 Night Creepers, 9 Vipers, 4 Alley Vipers, 2 Range Vipers, 11 Tele-Vipers, 10 B.A.T.s, 6 Snow Serpents, 6 H.I.S.S. Drivers (including Rip It and two Arctic versions), 5 Strato-Vipers, 5 Eels, 4 Stinger Drivers (2 of each version), 3 Red Ninjas, 6 Iron Grenadiers, and 6 Para-Vipers. I also have another 13 customized trooper-type figures, a few painted and a few just head swaps.
