Saw a Metroplex at TRU this past weekend. Sucker is BIG.
Price was $129, which (and I hate to say this) seems a little low, especially when you compare it to MP Soundwave which was the same price (and about 1/4 the size  ).
Is Metroplex just big but fairly simple to transform?

I found his transformation to be satisfying. It's surprisingly similar to the G1 metroplex, with the addition of some extra steps per mode. I'll have a review up in the near future.

Saw this at a local GIJOE toy show in Sacramento over the weekend. The box is huge.

I picked up Hoist at the Walmart in Napa last Saturday.

I got the Megatron Deluxe Classics for my birthday. He's pretty cool.

I'm not into Beast Wars but I really like the look of Generations Rhinox. I may pick that one up.

Still no sign of Metroplex, which is only good for my wallet. :)

Costco has Metroplex now, for the stunningly low price of $79.99 :)

Wow. At that price, I just might have to pick him up.

Now . . . when do we get our Trypticon?

Trypticon was planned and prototyped, but will most likely be shelved unless Metroplex sells very well.

Although this isnt the Kreo Thread-- Kohls had 5 packs of just the Transformer Kreons for like 5.99

One pack was Optimus, Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, and one of those later primes.

The other was Jazz, Mirage, Bumblebee, Red Alert (and either Thundercracker or Skywarp (I forget the colors)

Thanks Stew I ran by today and picked up the Optimus 5 pack for my son. It was 4.73 including tax which is a great deal for the figs.

Now back to your regularly scheduled CHUG discussion.

Picked up Voyager Sandstorm, so I'm all caught up with Generations, except for Metroplex.

Tons of great figures coming out soon. I'll be getting Skids, Waspinator, Rhinox, and Whirl for sure.

I have still never seen Rippersnapper from the Cyberverse line. Well, I've seen him at a comic store for $10, but for his proper price of $6, I've never seen him at retail anywhere. The other 4 Predacons are at TRU and Target and Wal-Mart, but for some reason little Rippersnapper was woefully underproduced or not shipped or something.

Finally found Blaster and Steeljaw at Toys R Us. They were a little bit pricey but considering how long I had been looking for them I couldn't justify skipping them. They are pretty cool.
