Beat me to it! It indeed looks like Takara will strike again. I normally like my G1 reissues to be as original as possible but the gold paint in place of the yellow plastic does look nice!

I'm about a few hours away from preordering Predaking but one hand keeps slapping the other.
For those in the know: What would be a fair price for the rare Takara minibot reissue set from 2004 or so?

Thanks, I just snagged one at $119.99 since it sounded like a lower price. ($148.15 shipped, though.) I also found the second set with the 1986 minibots for $32.40 shipped. Got those out of the way before their value went up higher.

Wasn't there a second Mini bot set that had the characters in their Decepticon colors like a white Bumblebee?

I haven't ordered from BBTS in a long time. Do they charge you right away for a pre-order or do they wait until it's available at the store?

BBTS doesn't charge you till the item ships. And they also don't charge for canceling an order before then, so I'm preordering from them constantly.

Thanks for the info.
My wallet will hate me, but Bruticus, Devastator, Abominus, and Piranacon will be happy to have their brother-in-arms Predaking join them!

I asked someplace else on the forums but the new Voyager series is that for the HFTD movie line or The Generations line? I'm trying to start up collecting TF with the Generations line but I wanna avoid the movie line like the plague. Like Seaspray is the one I want. Just curious.

The Voyagers are part of the HFTD (or Gold Box) line. Generations is Deluxe-only for the foreseeable future.
