I hit a Walmart I haven't gone to in awhile in the hopes of finding the new wave and I found LIFELINE 's name on an empty peg. So either I missed them or they aren't quite here yet. But they are coming.

So far I saw (and picked up) a Techno Viper and Zombie Viper at TRU a week before christmas..
Then saw Tunnel rat several times at Wal Marts right after christmas (although to be honest it was probably the same one)-
Found a Lifeline at TRU (only figure on the Peg) on Friday
And I picked up one more Techno Viper at a Kroger on Saturday (only new figure on the peg)...
Heres hoping those techno vipers become the figure no one wants out of this wave...

I opened the Zombie- and I just dont see the point in him whatsoever-- I guess its a fine figure-- but I dont like the tentacles and I think this one was a wasted slot-- he will be in my back row next to the other pointless figures, I would have rather seen a remake of the Toxo Zombie than this one-- Im guessing this was pushed a little bit by IDW and that stupid Infestation crossover-- (as they prep us for Infestation 2) -- enough with the zombies already Hasbro (and I say this before you start making them in the Marvel line) But as before to each their own... At least you know you wont be competing with me Army Building them-- now Techno Vipers- thats another story..

I don't know about the IDW thing, But Marvel said a long time ago they would no longer approve any Marvel Zombies related stuff (after the Marvel Selects, Mini-Mates, and Heroclix)

And I'll gladly take any (and all) of those "stupid" zombie vipers off your hands that you come across. After all, I wouldn't want them cluttering your inventory there in KY.

2 cancelled POC vehicles - the HISS scout and Cycle Armor are starting to hit Ross stores. I found only the HISS scout and got one though I'm not sure I want to keep it.

Finally found some of these figures at Target -- but of course they werent in the system and didnt have any older figures to bring up so had to argue on the price.. (This according to JLU logic- means that this product line will now be cancelled because they arent tracking sales ) So after multiple sporadic spottings of piecemeal cases-- it looks like all I need now are Sci Fi and Stormshadow (and about 10 more Techno Vipers..)

That's good news. Maybe I'll still have a shot at finding Airtight, Lifeline, and Sci Fi.
I haven't decided on the Zombie Vipers yet. I'll have to see one in person.

I went to Wal-Mart late last night (around 11PM) to get some cat food and they had just put a new case of 30th anniversary GI Joe out. I'm talking like just put out - there was Techno Viper, Lifeline, Airtight, and Sci-Fi, Tunnel Rat, Law and Order, Ripcord, 2 Zombie Vipers, 2 of the Cobra Riot police, as well as the usual pegwarmers no one cares about because they're not packed one per case: (Duke, Cobra Commander, Snake Eyes etc.)
Of course, one Wal-Mart is probably not indicative of the entire country, but just thought I'd let you guys know.

This last Saturday while I was waiting for my daughter to finish her Kumon lesson, I walked across the street to Walmart and found they just put out some Joes. I was able to pick up Airtight. They had the Renegades figures: Tunnel Rat, Ripcord, Scarlett, the Cobra soldier and they had the Techno-Viper. Now I just need to find Lifeline.

Still need Lifeline and Airtight.
Zombie Viper and Law/Order are "let's wait and see them on the pegs."
Saw Scarlet finally the other day . . . and passed. Her head/face is fugly.

I like Law and Order he looks cool. He looks good next to Shockwave (blast). I picked him up at my LCS for 10.99 cause he was the one I was really looking forward to cause he looks way better than the desert themed one from the ROC line.
Right b4 Christmas my wife and I stopped by Walgreens to get some last minute shopping and I saw Lifeline and Sci-Fi but they were 11.99. I was holding Sci-Fi in my hand and my wife asked me if I was going to get it and I said sure. Didn't want to push it which is why I didn't get Lifeline.
Its hard being a completist for GIJOE so I'm just trying to be more selective now. Its still my first love of collecting but I have so much Joe stuff I have to start thinking about getting rid of some older stuff.
Can't wait till the Joe Club ships Footloose. I'm still kicking myself for not getting last year's con set cause I really wanted that Leatherneck and Claymore. Any news on the joe club sub yet?
