I think they were making progress until they had that stolen credit card number problem happen-- pretty sure they wont offer it until that gets corrected

You're right Stew for some reason that slipped my mind. Here's a stupid question, if I renewed a couple of months back b4 all this stuff happened this wouldn't have affected my getting Footloose right? As long as it says membership expires on 3/2013 right? this whole thing is for people trying to renew now b4 the deadline right?

I just found out there WAS a Leatherneck last year. And now I'm bummed over how much better he looks than all the retail releases.

My best friend and I are both part of the club and what we did in the past is he would order a boxed set and a loose set and we would just split the costs. Normally the club would have sets left over and we could order after the joe con. They didn't do that with this set. A freaking claymore is like 80 to 100 bucks on eBay.

Yeah, that set was pretty cool. I wanted those two Python Patrols guys that never got released at retail. And their Dial Tone was pretty cool, too.

But now they go for insane prices, which I have no interest in. I really have no interest in anything much above retail price - wish we got these in stores. And that's why the prices are so damn high - because lots of folks want them. That's what Hasbro should be selling at retail - stuff folks want.

Probably would have worked out better if they had just made the Renegades figures con exclusive - they are the worst sellers of the 30th line by far. (Not counting Stormy because he's single packed, single cased, making him the exception to the rule).

Hope you are checking your credit card statments, there is a big, big hoopla on all the GI Joe boards that the info was compromised, Club sent out a mass e-mail for everyone who has bought anything in the past 6 months from them to cancel thier cards just to be safe. No word on exactly what happened but I have read people with phone in orders have been effected too. Sounds like a huge mess.

I spoke to my credit card company about shady transactions recently so had my credit card replaced. What a joke.

Great review Noisy. I haven't seen this figure at retail either and now that I think about it I don't think I've seen this at my LCS either. I'm actually kind of like where I gravitating more towards the heroic characters than the villains. I'm actually only getting the heroic MOTUC right now. sorry off topic.

Storm Shadow was nowhere to be found here - luckily, the awesome Captain Collector offered to graciously sell me his. It's my favorite figure of late.

That's awesome! Storm Shadow is the only 30th figure I haven't been able to find at retail. If there's any fellow board members that can help a brother out, it'd be much appreciated. I'd prefer not to give my dollars to the scalpers at Frank & Sons. :D

I've slowly gathered most of the most recent wave except Lifeline and Zombie Viper. And I'm not even sure I want the Viper! However, I'd at least like to see it in person and make the decision.

Anybody have an extra Lifeline? I fear we're about to be deluged with movie figures and I don't want him to slip through my fingers.

Found a Sci Fi on Ebay for 10.50 shipped, not bad for a figure I never saw at retail I think :)
