Dude, he's a club appologist, in other words the club could put out a turd with a GI Joe Logo and guys like this would stand up an clap. There is no reasoning with them and anything you say that is "Pro Club" (Reguardless of the club's past screw ups, mistakes, lowered quality, or down right horrid customer service) is labeled "whining." It's what they do, troll around the interwebs and say "Oh club is great" with whatever new "catch phrase arguement" that has been handed to them (IE "Oh hacking happens to everyone." with the CC issue, even though people were complaining MORE about the way the club handled the issue than the hack itself. clearly not even reading the comments previously mentioned).

It's that same old pattern, I have no idea why they do it since it makes no sense at all.

I think you are being unfair to Caped Crusader. The club does some things right, does some things wrong. I had my CC info stolen a little bit after the Joe Club hacking occurred, and I've never bought anything from them - it could happen to anybody, anywhere. I feel bad for them in that case, but they should have been more forthcoming about it.

I was just hoping there would be an online Oktober Guard 7-pack. $40 for 7 figs, I'd buy that in a second. $350 for 15 figs, several of which will possibly be duplicates, that's just way too much. And thus there will be no forthcoming 7-pack for me to buy. But since the sets all sold out last year and go for prices even higher, there is a market for them. I just think if I spent THAT much money on Joes, I'd be disappointed/bitter/sad/whatever.

But at least we are going to see some new Joes on the shelves next month (even if that's the crappiest card art the Joes have had in years - keeping pace with the Avengers crappy card art). It just doesn't feel like a great time to be a Joe fan (or a fan of any action figure line for that matter).

I love how miserable, habitual complainers label anyone who actually likes the things he/she collects and enjoys his/her hobbies an "appologist [sic]." Some of us are in this because it's fun, not because we need more reasons to gripe and moan about how horrible everything is. Someone who's never had anything more than a free account with the Club complaining about their customer service is hilarious, and anyone always champing at the bit to join up with any torch and pitchfork crowd for any reason can never be taken seriously.

 Worry not. I've been called worse by much, much better. In his imagination, posting on a site I joined in the very beginning of 2006 is "trolling around the interwebs." It's no more offensive than the incoherent ramblings of a lunatic screaming on a street corner. Besides, if he directs his perpetual unhappiness at me, maybe it will keep him from harassing comic book writers for a while.

Of course, just like every other company in the world.

I'll be tossing all the packaging in the recycling bin, so I couldn't care less about that. Retaliation is looking better with every new clip released. The convention is taking place in the Big Easy the same weekend the flick opens. Updated Red Ninjas, Black Dragon Ninjas, a Bruce Willis G.I. JOE figure, RZA as Blind Master, Night Vipers, a killer JOE troop builder, a new Cobra Trooper with an awesome parachute, and three different versions of Jinx are coming in the movie line. That's to say nothing of Big Boa, Cover Girl, Dice, and yet another terrific Jinx in the FSS. Oh, and some fun, creative uses of the existing tooling library are heading to stores at discounted prices.

For me, 2012 feels like a great time to be a G.I. JOE fan. Give me more animation and a Billy figure in 2013, and I don't know what more I could want. Well, maybe a Soft Master figure.

And I love how if you have a slightly differing opinion from "!00% Positive" the appologist uses childish and predictable tactics like blanking out the quotes with vieled insults, thus proving the entire point in the first place.

I also love how appologists say someone who has a complaint or two is labeled a "Habitual complainer" even though the apologist has no clue of the posters history at all with the brand and has no interest in educating themself.

Maybe I am being unfair to CC, but his consistant "Rabble Rabble, rabble  " quotes to everything I say isn't painting a very nice picture of him either. Clearly he has some issue with me-whatever, but he lets that cloud everything else rather than trying to act like an adult.

Maybe a picture will help.

Footloose is gonna shoot the next person who wah-wah-wahs instead of talking about Joes.

I've been so busy with life, I missed out on the pre-orders for the Amazon exclusive Renegades pack. I'm a sad panda... Hopefully they'll put more up soon.

Oh yeah, great pic Sean! :D

Now it's MY turn to wah-wah. I saw those pre-orders go up yesterday morning, but I was in a Dallas hotel room at the time. By the time I got home that evening, they were sold out.

I'm hoping Amazon may restock like they did with their exclusive Unicron last year, but until they do, I'm cryin' in my beer.

Hmmm, other than that red ninja, those sets are a pass.

I guess I get to save some money! :)
