Curious is this just the Daredevil from the Nemesis wave a few years back? Or is he different?

I think it's different. I don't think Hasbro is using any of those bodies anymore. I could be wrong.

It's different, totally different. New head sculpt, plus the new body style.

That DD is a bit of a dream come true. We've all been asking for a new DD on the BuckyCap body, and it really does work well.

But to me it pales in comparison to the all-new Spider-man in this wave. The interchangeable parts are great and I love them, but beyond that, it's just the nicest Spider-man figure... maybe ever. Only flaw is a low range of motion in the hips outwards. Upwards is great.
I can't wait for the Scarlet Spider version of this toy now, and hoping for a new black costume too. I really like this toy.

As the sculpts have gotten better, the paint jobs have gotten worse. Ha! Compare the recent Iron Fist and Spidey figures and you can see how much more organic the lines are. That said, all of my Avengers from the AoU waves have lazy eyes.

Gotta say after seeing this guy in person I wasn't too crazy about him as I thought I would be, but maybe the price was also a factor in that as well. Personally Im keeping my fingers crossed for a marvel select DD in his new tv series costume
