Found him at my TRU today. They had him for $49.99. Not quite sure what to think about him. He's a bit bigger than the ML version, but has less articulation (no hand joints so he can't really grab the smaller figures like his ML counterpart can). He's electronic with light up eyes and voice phrases. I counted at least 8 unique sayings, some of which were actually semi-cool (Beware of my Power Cosmic!). However, both the lights and sound were somewhat muted. Perhaps there's a "store mode" that you can switch off with you open him up. I really liked the picture they used on the back of the box; pretty much every MU figure they've made gathered to take on the G-man (although they played games with the actual scale). In the end, I passed. For now. I don't really like those beard projections they put on his face and the lack of hand articulation annoyed me (I'm not sure about any torso joints either). The lights and voice came across as weak, at least in the toy aisle. I do like the extra size, but my ML Galactus still looks awesome. Perhaps if he goes on sale . . .

At $50 that's still somewhat palatable for me. But only because of what the market's been set at for the Marvel Legends BAFs. I'll definitely pick him up. If I can ever find him.

I picked him up last week. I think he's great! Your points are all valid. I like the thickness of the sculpt compared to the Marvel Legends one. He looks much more imposing with the other Marvel figures. The box is very cool.

Has anyone seen the variant at retail too? I have him on preorder, but prefer to try and find him locally too. I need to get both of these so that I can leave my SDCC one carded. I'm usually an opener, but this one looks to cool carded.

That's cool! I just had BBTS ship my pile of loot, so I probably won't see him until next week at the earliest. At 19" tall, I think he will end up at my office with 18" Movie Spider-Man and 18" Hellboy.

He's up at TRU for $49.99, spend over $100 and get free shipping. I got him for $58 shipped with tax so not bad. Almost bought 2 but I want an SDCC version boxed. Hopefully this version bring the other one down in price. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... Id=4079586

Saw him at my TRU today for $54.99 which I just couldn't do, especially because the TRU a few miles away might have him for $49.99.
Are these gonna be everywhere or just TRU?

That is his regular price now. He was $49.99 but went up to $54.99.

Saw him last night at TRU. he's cool, but he's not a must have for me. I think I'll save my money for a huge sentinel.

Since I can't get my local guys to answer, I'll ask here. Has anyone seen the variant at retail yet? Just wondering if I should be looking before my BBTS preorder get's processed.

Saw him this weekend at a TRU near me as well,
Not sure about the variant-- and not sure if I could tell unless they were both standing side by side.

After finally getting one of my own, I can definitely say, he's the crown jewel of my MU collection. The only complaint I have, is that I don't have more than one . The packaging is just so awesome to me. So I want to keep it MIB, but I also want to display Galactus loose with my other MU. What a great problem to have .

I tried to cut the art from the front off the box so I could keep it, but it didn't work very well, so I tossed it
