Okay, I just noticed something weird. I was looking at a desert Cap, and on the back of the card was a HYDRA Assault Trooper (#15). Then I looked at Jungle Cap and there was the regular HYDRA Attack Trooper (#12). Are there TWO types of standard (not deluxe) HYDRA troops out there? Judging from the cardback, they look almost the same, save for perhaps the helmet. Does anybody have BOTH of these? Are they the same? If so, why the different numbers? And if not, what is the difference? One army builder I can't find is bad enough, two is just a royal pain.

Oh, I noticed this when I picked up a #15 at Walmart the other day.
The difference wasn't major (so much so that I barely committed it to memory); I think the #15 release has some red outlines on his helmet.

Was the difference perhaps in the weapons he was packed with??

From the research I've since done, it looks like a slightly different helmet and a slightly different weapon. Sigh. I guess no HYDRA pilots for me.

Anyone still looking for a single carded Red Skull? There is one sitting on the pegs at the store I work for.

I found the 2-packs on clearance at Target for half price today and picked them up. The Crossbones is cool and Winter Soldier is pretty cool (didn't pick up the blue version from Wave 1) so they were worth half price to me.
And it sucks that there are no Hydras to be found on the pegs at all (except the Deluxe fig) but Snowboard Cap is starting to warm the pegs (even though I think that figure is kinda bad ass).

This has got to be the coolest figure in this line. and it isn't because of the figure. I picked up Winter Soldier last night. I have in mind to use his head for a custom and decided to get one while I could. But it isn't the figure that is cool, or the sniper rifle that I cannot figure out how to get him to hold and aim, or the pistol. Nope, it is most definitely the back pack jetpack. THIS is what an accessory is supposed to be. and even though it is the best add on to this entire line, it could still be better. Run a string through it end to end like a zip line. Not like it is new technology, they did it with Major Matt Mason, but then they built the pyramids and forgot how they did it, I suppose it should be no surprise for Mattel to lose a little techno gem like that in just 4 short decades. Too bad Hasbro didn't find it though, this figure could have ended up being the best in this line. CCC.

Found comic colored Hydra #15 at TRU today. Never thought I'd see that one.
