Will Hasbro release a single of Sub-Mariner in his green trunks (like the one in the SDCC Invaders set)?

Well when they did the box set- each of them was actually individualy carded inside the box, so I guess all the tooling exists-- I just dont personally think It will be done-- I dont really remember hasbro rereleasing any of their exclusives as another single (in multipacks yes) but never individual rereleases -- previous ones like the Mcquarrie SW figs were in the recent box sets-- and there is talk of the Sgt. Slaughter- being rereleased with the Triple T-- but I dont think you are going to get individual releases..

Isn't the Captain America in the Invaders set the same as the previously released Captain America?
Subby in his green trunks is his "classic" look. That's the one that should be released to the mass market. It doesn't have to be the same as the Invaders set but there should be one.

I don't see a difference at all in the Cap that's in the Invaders set. He looks the same as pretty much every single carded Cap they've released so far in MU. As for the classic Namor, I just caved and bought him off Ebay. Which is something I rarely do, but the offer was too good to pass up.

There were some slight deco differences- between stars, and circles, and eagles, and even the shield, and different belt pouches and stuff- but without lining them up next to each other I couldnt tell you- although Im pretty sure a Cap fan can..
Red skull had his Nazi uniform (without the swatzika) and Toro was just a better painted Human Torch figure-- but they were all different.
Im not saying hasbro shouldnt-- I just dont think they will.. I figure the next Namor figure will probably be a Dark X Men variant..

I don't see why not. After all, didn't they release a trunks only version of Subby during the Marvel Legends Fantastic Four subline. The one with the Ronan BAF? Or was that Toybiz?

That was Hasbro. But ML didn't have an SDCC exclusive Namor either.

What a waste of a slot, I was hoping we might actually of got Starlord instead. Seeing we already have 2 of Namor already.

I for one am looking quite forward to the original Namor especially since he looks to be on a bigger body . He was one of the first comics I read and didn't know until it was too late for the Invaders box set. I'm not paying the ridiculous prices I see on ebay for this plus in the box set he's too skinny looking. He did come single carded though. Cap, Human Torch and Namor from the box set were placed on single cards. I got the one on single card but again, too skinny looking.

I think this Namor is a great improvement over the SDCC version and the "black suited" version that's out now. Hasbro does a good job of getting around to obscure characters (like Starlord). So just be patient. MU as a line is doing well, so we may see him in time.

I think it is a great improvement as well, and if there hadn't already been 2 I would agree with the both of you, however like I said imo it's a wasted slot, that could have been used on anyone but Namor, I would love a Starlord, however I would love to see any new figure before another Namor.
