The Ultron seems to be a repaint with fluorescent green highlights (which I actually think is pretty cool). Doom I'm not sure about.

Even I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy it. There's only one figure there I want, and I don't think I'm gonna pay $20 (at least) for a golden Iron Man that I already have in Legends form.

From the Mojo wave? I didn't even know there was a variant of that figure in gold.

Yep. There was.

Just like there was both a Stealth and Retro varient for the Iron Man in the original wave of ML.

In addition to that, I have the golden armor from the Toybiz Avengers pack from the late 90's. And I also have the golden armor mini-mate.

So I think I'm good for Golden Armor Iron Men.

That was a great set. I loved it and even the two X-Men sets.

Maybe you can answer a question for me. I remember when Toybiz announced the Avengers set, the solicitation said that there were going to be two versions of Iron Man: the "standard" one was going to be yellow and the "variant" one was going to be gold. I pre-ordered my set from PREVIEWS and received the "variant" gold one and was quite disappointed in it. The paint left fingerprints on the figure and the paint also flaked off. I searched eBay for a couple of years looking for a set with the yellow but never saw one. Does this figure exist?

I have the metallic/shiny one from that pack, but I have seen the other one in person. It's kind of a weathered-looking dullish paint job. Not bad, but I prefer the metallic one.

I bought the Avengers set at retail and it came with the standard IM. Years later, I bought the set again off eBay and it had the metallic version instead. I never saw that one in the stores and I preferred it, but it does flake off and leaves prints like most chrome-plated toys.

I have the dull one and I actually like it. Its weathered, muted look is how I envision the armor looking after a long, drawn out Avengers battle.

I don't think I've ever seen the metallic one in person.

But only AFTER Power Pack, in order to support Power Pack. Power Pack is the center of everything, you know. :-)

Ill support on powerpack comic pack-- but only if one of those figures is old school blue shadowcat - say power pack 19--

After looking at some of their issues-- power pack may be the center of the universe-- but Ive never seen a comic where every month the guest stars get more of the cover (and more mention) than the actual characters...-- looking at part of the run-- youd figure it was an X-men spin off comic.
