I can see a lot of potential fodder from these G.I. Joe figures.

Zarana, Steel Brigade, Techo-Viper, the new Stalker, and all the Renegades toys (especially Cobra Commander and that Black Dragon) look fantastic.

The Cobra Commander is the best one yet. He looks amazing. I so don't want yet another Duke and Snake Eyes, but the Renegades versions look too good to pass up. What does everyone think of the vehicles? I think they're all chock full of win. I especially liked the Starscream w/Cobra Commander. I so wasn't expecting that.

Looks like I'll be picking up a few more Vipers, anyway. Techno and Hazard Vipers are just awesome. Who'd have thought we'd ever have biological weapons in the toy aisle? What's up with the Cobra traffic cone, though? I'll be passing on the vehicles, though.

Well I wont be getting any of the vehicles-- just dont need them (just into the figures)-- and none of the drivers stick out to me as must haves.--
As far as the figures-- Just need to find a way to get a Zarana (and maybe the Cold Slither version)--
Ill be picking up a Steel Brigade, Sci Fi, Crazylegs, and maybe a Hazard Viper and regular Viper and maybe a Rock Viper (one of the biggest disappointments to me - since they went with the stupid ski mask head-- I wanted the goofy Helmet and Goggles, the wacky camo and the mustache...
However I will probably buy every single Techno Viper that comes within my reach.. as discussed before -- you can never have too much purple.
Overall a pretty cheap year so far for me- since I really hate all the new modern designs-- nice figures just not G.I. Joe to me...

stewbacca wrote: Ill keep it to 5-- but I only want them if they get them to look close to the Vintage/25th character designs
Sci-Fi (has to be neon green) Cover Girl (the real one-- none of this blonde crap ( and I know she was blonde in the first cartoon apperance-- but I prefer her the DD comic way) Techno Viper (hes gotta be purple) Big Boa (goofy helmet and all) Slice and Dice (2 pack please) - in (Red and purple) Well 2 out of 5(6)-- seems to be much better Marvel Universe odds-- where I went a lovely 0/10.

Has it been five years since the 25th Anniversary line already??? For a year short of the 30th, (man, I'm old) there's a lot of great stuff in there. Sci-Fi looks 100% awesome as Low-Light did. Crazylegs is just as cool. Didn't expect him at all even though I love that character and his original figure. The new Stalker is bad ass! As for General Hawk, I think he's going to be a 25th Sparks to me. He fits the DDP look quite nicely. The Cobras look great. Stormy, the Technos, the basic Trooper and Viper, exclusive Zarana, all good. Wish the Skystriker was a two-seater, but close enough to the original. I thought 2011 was going to be another slim year for RAH, but not so much now. And "30 for 30" is shaping up to be even better.

I'm sincerely stunned we're getting modern versions of such "colorful" characters as Sci-Fi and the Techno-Viper. I'm certainly likely to pick them up, and I'm not in the habit of picking up 25th-style figures of traditional-style characters. But in these two instances, (a) they're both personal favorites and (b) I never thought we'd see them again in ANY form.
I want a few Hazard-Vipers, and as many Jungle BATs as I can afford and find. The new Cobra "Osprey" vehicle, the Black Dragon VTOL, is an amazing item. That the SkyStriker is coming back, even if in a slightly modified form, to accommodate the modern figures, is astonishing to me. That there's a secondary version being redone as Starscream from the Transformers for the SDCC is absolutely incredible. And yeah, I want 'em both.

Is anyone going to SDCC? I shudder to think what the secondary market prices are going to be on Zarana and the Skystriker/Starscream w/Cobra Commander. I'll gladly pay someone a couple months in advance who's going.
