On Cobra Commander's bio card for the Pursuit of Cobra line, it says that he is "prepared for battle in a mask that uses sunlight to power his cybernetic armor."

I don't know how much electricity a suit of cybernetic armor uses, but I would imagine it's a lot. The mask itself has a comparitively small surface area. If that small solar powered mask is truly able to produce enough electricity to power the entire suit of armor, then this represents a giant leap forward in renewable energy technology. This is going to help the world immensely once the state-of-the-art mask falls into the hands of the Joes, as it surely must at some point.

My question is why would Cobra Commander want his R&D scientists to design a new solar powered technology that will help the world this much? I thought he wanted to use the most toxic forms of energy available, as we saw in the Eco-Warriors line. When did he change his mind about the environment, and has he actually become good now? Do you think soon he'll abandon Cobra altogether and go over to the Joe's side?

This change came about in the Devil's Due comic when Al Gore took over the Cobra organization.

Just goes to show you, even the mighty COBRA cannot stand against the true vileness known as:

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!!!

I'm not familiar with Eco-Warriors, but that right there sounds like godawfully bad writing. I mean, ever for a toy line.

I assume that, all else being equal, CC would prefer a nice healthy planet to take over.
