Not much of a classic Avengers fan, huh?

Polaris is currently in the lead with Magik in second. Having been out of the X-books for over a decade, I had forgotten how popular the X-women are.

I really wonder why Hasbro doesn't do a female centric MU exclusive. They know it'd sell to the collector demographic.

Because they don't understand us, and that is because they don't try to. With the exception of Joe, they still want to think this is all for kids.

What I really want is an X-Statix team pack with Mr. Sensitive, Deadgirl, Venus (if they can get the tooling on her arms right) and a 3.75" scale DOOOOP!

Top Five:

1) Polaris (10)
2) Tigra (9)
3) Wasp (9)
4) Magik (9)
5) Domino (8)

The remaining X-woman are putting in a strong showing.

This would be fantastic but would sell worse than the Guardians of the Galaxy. Or they could make it a SDCC exclusive and it would be sold out in 5 minutes. it's a lose-lose proposition.

But man did I love that book.

I never got the appeal, either. Doop's a pretty stupid character.

IMHO.

Avengers for Marvel is my favorite group and one of the few comic books I do still read however I really don't need another Wasp (although I'd prolly buy a MOC one of her) and I really don't consider any of the others "classic Avengers" outside maybe Mantis and never was a fan of her really.

I usually buy 2 of every new character though so I'd prolly buy any of these actually just do not see Hasbro making too many of them.

If I'm paying $4 for a comic book, less is less.

His style is WAY too cartoony.

Thas cool, different strokes... but there's good cartoony and bad cartoony and I'd rather judge the art on its own terms. I mean, there are artists who get lazier after age or success have worked their spoils (see: Frank Miller) but I'm not sure I'd call Allred out for that "crime".

And for the record, especially when it comes to comix, I'm much more impressed with clear and dramatic storytelling than the amount of detail or line work they can pack into a panel or page. Don't get me wrong, I love artists who do the fine bits of detail and subtle line work but that's in addition to a solid foundation, not in place of (say, an artist who draws all the same 2 highly detailed faces on his characters.) Obviously, since I'm defending him, I think Allred does more than fine a job on that front. Plus, I do love his whacked-out, trippy style.

As much as I love this kind of discussion, maybe this isn't the best place to carry it out...

As I said, I dropped Magik when I made my own, and it wasn't hard to do. I would rather see Dazzler and I don't care if it is her 70's disco silver or the blue leotard, but it has to be one of those. I think the disco would be better because she debuted in the Hellfire Saga and they are finally doing a White Queen, and that was what she was wearing then. I also have an idea for a Shaw figure now.

2. Yeah, I want her too!
