I'm in for most of them. I really want to ignore Ghost Rider and I have a deal for Hope's BAF piece. Anybody want a Ghost Rider without the BAF? Or willing to sell me the BAF? I plan on getting the orange variant Ghost Rider if I see him in the wild. I'll PM you about the BAF piece if that happens.

But, I was thinking of the Toy Biz Classic Blue Ghost Rider. The blue variant had the transforming Johnny Blaze face and the neck peg felt too fragile to tray and do a head swap with the regular black Ghost Rider. I did read "House of M" but not much X-Men anything after the year long Shi'ar thing (which came first, I don't recall). Thank you for the info! Unfortunately, it doesn't make me want either figure, or variant, any more than I did before

Now the race is on. Will I find these at retail before my online preorder becomes ready? Odds are no, but I'm gonna try!

Thanks!
Man alive, what is BBTS thinking? Masque, Thunderball, and Spidey all have variants, and it's Cap who gets double packed?

Not sure if I will get all of Wave 1. Really want Klaw and Constrictor, but Thor, Iron Man and Rogers look sweet. At that point it's just clean up to buy the rest to make the BAF.
Will BBTS offer a lot that sells Piledriver AND Thunderball? Want Zola, but they are the figures that are MUSTS from that wave.

But I have no use for that Ghost Rider whatsoever. I keep hearing people say it's supposed to be his new movie look, but I've seen what he looks like in the new movie, and no it ain't. From what I remember, that's supposed to be a running change, so I doubt anybody will have them both at first.

I was under the impression that Piledriver was a chase variant. Which harkens back to the days of Toybiz. For me that made the line fun to collect. I actually enjoyed the hunt then. Now, not-so-much.

No I believe they said it was going to be a running change---it was how they were going to make the same assortments- look like refreshes all year... like they do with some of the star wars figures every once in a while (or the Marvel Universe ones-- Like Phasing Vision or Warpath-or when they supposedly intentionally darkened the Thing or Spidey from the original waves..- (just hope they dont take a year to get the running change out..or make them that scarce)

I also heard that Thundy/Pile and Masque/Viper were running changes.
Anyway, not gonna worry about it right now, I've got Wave 1 to track down!

I like the individualized card art, the comic style graphic touchs and I like that the BAF pieces are visible so you can inspect the paint/assembly on those as well as the figure but the background behind the figure just looks to "busy" to me... http://thefwoosh.com/2012/01/marvel-leg ... d-pictures
