The packaging is fun, but it's way too cluttered and noisy with no real hierarchy in the design. Action fonts and stickers crashing all over the place. "Terrax!" is on there twice for no reason I can decipher. "Marvel Legends" is on there twice for no reason I can decipher. And the "Marvel" logo is pushed off to the side, rather diminutive. I'm so distracted I don't appreciate the toy. But the figures look awesome! The DC Universe packaging is better. Okay, enough art critique, sorry.

I actually completely agree with your critique of the card art. It's too busy. Which is a blessing for me, because now I won't have the compulsion to buy one to keep carded and another to complete the BAF... Silver lining

Good find! If my math is correct, buying a case of eight (at least at BBTS) is the same as buying a set of seven at TRU. Too bad I didn't come here before shipping my BBTS Pile of Loot about a half hour or so ago. Ah well, shipping and local sales tax cancel each other out.

I hit it big this weekend; getting to the store right at opening worked for me two days in a row. I found the first wave (minus Hope and GR) on Friday morning near home, and then found the entire wave again (with Hope and GR) near work. So I only spent 24 hours with the psychotic collector's mentality of focusing only on the ones I didn't find.

I haven't even had a chance to look yet. I already got Thor from SDCC but I'd like to see Iron Man in person before making that purchase.
I also can't decide who I want to get from this line. I'm keeping it strictly to a small group, unlike my DC lines. I know for sure that Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Spiderman, Hulk, and Wolverine are on my list. Beyond that, Nightcrawler is one of my favorites but there may not be anyone else that stands out.

I think it's odd that one figure out of the set doesn't have the BAF parts...

Not so odd; this way, the people who bought the SDCC version of Thor don't have to rebuy the figure to complete their Terrax. Darn considerate of Hasbro, I'd say.

The Detail on that Thor is quite amazing. I don't mind that he's quite tall, it's mostly about having the character look so amazing. Hopefully this line goes on for a long time.
