For those asking about the release date for ML Series 3, I just got an email from BBTS that the case ration has changed from two Dooms to two Deadpools and they mention September as the release date. We shall see if that holds.

Also, I have been spotting restocks for Series 1 at Walmart. No variants, but I saw most of them at one store and a full set, including two Hopes, at another location. No Series 2 since the last restock a few weeks back that finally yielded Piledriver, Masked Daken, Madame Hydra and Big Time Spider-Man. We will probably see a flood of those case right when Series 3 is supposed to hit, and probably at Target

Odd, Monday my Wal-Mat put out a case of Marvel Legends Series 1 2012. They were $15.88, esm tag and everything! So I bought Constrictor. I already have Hope Summer from when they were first released way back. After some consideration I decided I would build Terrax so I bought the right leg of Terrax (Iron Man) off eBay. Today I go back in hopes to score Steve Rogers with the waist of Terrax. Low and behold it was just two Iron Mans and Klaw.

Well I bought Klaw. However... here's the thing, they were now scanning at $11.00???? Could a PLC come down that fast from Monday?

since the current ML figures are running larger in scale compared to the original ML figures, any educated guesses as to how usagent will stack up to captain america figures from the earlier incarnation of ML?

Not all of them are larger, that's for sure. Klaw is puny (and maybe Constrictor?). He's on the Hasbro ML Vision body, which is really small. Thor is almost twice his height, and at least 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 times bigger in girth. But even compared to Commander Rogers he's small.

I hope none of that came off as complaining, because it isn't. At all. I absolutely love the new HML figures. I get around the scale disparity by the way I position them in my display(s).

If you are a scale perfectionist (and that would be a great custom sub handle for billy  ), no toy line outside of the very expensive Hot Toys-type variety is going to make you consistently happy.

Even the hallowed Toybiz Legends had issues (Wonder Man comes to mind immediately).

I'm okay with certain scale issues...but when it's glaringly obvious it might get under my skin a bit.I'm ok with Klaw being small...he might just be a small dude...now if Thor or the wrecking crew where really small like Wonderman was ...yeah that's an issue. I would still like to see a two pack with Wonderman in his safari jacket and Beast with his Avengers appearance from the 70's and a Classic Black panther. Of course WM and BP being on larger bucks.

the only scale issues I'm REALLY having right now are the much taller women. Hope seemed a bit tall as did Maria Hill ...I'd like to see the new buck they will be introducing with Moonstone just a tad shorter.

I'm always so shocked to walk into a store and see a bunch of Marvel Legends on the pegs. It's like I keep forgetting they're a regular retail line.

My TRU had a bunch of stuff from Waves 1 and 2 out today, including some variants I'd never found before. I left masked Daken behind (because really, what's the point? Without that mohawk, he might as well actually be Wolverine) but picked up Big Time Spidey.

Between this and the Masque I found last week, it's slowly whittling down my list of "never seen at retail" alternates. Now it's just down to Piledriver (who I traded for online) and Steve Rogers with photonic shield (which I would've liked but not enough to buy the same figure twice).

A full set of wave one (blue GR) showed up at one of my Walmarts a couple days ago.

Can't wait for wave three.
