I saw most of the line at TRU a few days ago and it looks like only Thor that is out of scale. I even heard that one of the figures is a repaint of Hasbro's Doc Samson body.

The way Thor has 'grown' over the years, especially in his newest incarnation, I don't really think he is out of scale. That said, since Hasbro took over the Marvel license and started making MLs, they have all been a bit out of scale to the Toy Biz stuff, most notably the HML peanut noggins (which doesn't appear to be a problem for Steve Rogers!). The heads have gotten better, but the FF Silver Surfer, Blackbolt, Daredevil and even the last two Iron Mans -- Classic from the 2-Pack and Heroes Reborn -- seemed to have small heads.

(Be nice if I could ever FIND the blasted thing) I know this Thor dwarfs the old Marvel Legends Destroyer, but does anyone know how he stacks up against the one from the Thor series?

BBTS pre-orders for wave 1 are arriving! I just got an email that my Iron Man is in, though Thor isn't in yet Should mean that wave 1 will be hitting the East coast very soon since BBTS is based in New York.

I ordered a set and it's in my pile-of-loot. (also, I'm pretty sure BBTS is based in Wisconsin)

I've got Hope, Klaw and Constrictor on the way via TRU.com. A little birdie tipped me off that they were in stock yesterday. Unfortunately they sold out super fast, before I was able to pass this nugget of info on.

FINALLY saw one of these in the wild.
A solitary Iron Man at TRU. If it had been Constrictor or Klaw, I would have paid the extra amount, but with Tony, I can afford to wait (having 100 some odd Iron Man figures will do that to you).
The packaging doesn't look that bad in person. The double "Terrax Wave!" sticker is a bit much, though.
Paint looked good, but Tony does seem a bit small. He'll be going in the back of the Iron Man display, which is too bad, because I like to put them in the order in which the armors were developed.
Here's hoping Walmart and Target finally get with the program.

If mine get displayed together, I'll probably do something to screw with the depth perception, so you won't be able to tell as much.

Hasbro's design team does not have a clue about scale even if you pick up one and hit them in the head. It all started with the "exclusive" SDCC Thor. Hasbro should have used the scale that Lord Thor was for that SDCC Thor. I will truly never, ever will understand their logic. This is why I am using a customizer. If the customizer screws up then I just tell him to fix that or this. I can't tell Hasbro anything. I will say Hasbro has given me some great fodder over the years so yeah, thanks Hasbro.

Isn't that an old Cap? Maybe there will be a new one who is more in scale with this Thor.

I'm not a big stickler for scale (if I was I would never have JLU figures) but it will always be a problem if you're mixing lines.
