Y'know, even if Maria Hill had been included with the retail version...that'd STILL too much to pay for her. Buncha jerks.

To be honest- I dont think any reviews are going to make you slap down the money for it..
It is a nice piece of engineering how they made the supercarrier-how it is just another panel you slide into the current helicarrier frame..
However once you get it out of the ginormous box (and the 100 tie downs) it was disappointing. Although it is rather large -- it really feels cheap and is pretty much just a flat piece of plastic-- and it feels a little flimsy compared to normal Hasbro (SW and JOE) vehicles.. Its nothing compared to the recent clone Wars Shuttle or any of the recent BIG Star Wars vehicles.. A bunch of missile launchers and moving fans and thats pretty much all the play options there are on this thing.. There are hatches that open up (but what they open up to is a space so shallow its useless) the catapult thing doesnt even move..
At this point I see it more as whats its going to be to me a glorified really cool themed display shelf,-- I was expecting at least a litte more... One note was the box art had Whirlwind on the back -- so hopefully hes coming soon...

Still, I might get one for my Heroclix . . . once it gets seriously discounted.

Agreed, the flatness seems to make it work for HC, but not MU scaled.

I received my Avengers Black Widow in the mail yesterday. First time seeing the figure in person. How rare it is when the figure in the package looks way better than the vanity shot of the toy on the back of the package!

Dig it, new product on the shelves. I almost didn't notice, because let's face it, who in the world gives those cheap deluxe figures a second thought?

So has Wave 4 (new iron man, nick fury and cosmic axe chitauri) hit shelves yet? I see an August release date on BBTS and September release date on ToyWiz.

Do you remember how much it was? That's a set I could get into for the right price.

Motherf....all the time I coulda saved, if we'd known this was coming.
Ah, well, nothing lost. And at least they didn't do something like stick a Maria Hill figure in there.

A buddy of mine picked that set up at a mom and pop store in NYC. He said it was $40.

I would offer it to anybody interested but she's selling it for $65, she also had the Masters of Evil set for $50, and has the Super Heli-carrier for $250. So not great bargains, but they do sell, she had the Galactus set for the longest time at $120, and it eventually sold.

These are the ones I got from that seller in China and they move at the neck, shoulders, upper legs and ankles. I was shocked that was it. You can't even get that thing in a decent pose.

You can do an okay pose, but that's it. I was considering army building these, but now that I've got one . . . one is gonna be it. Here's hoping the regular figure is better . . . but it probably won't be. And the Avengers line continues to disappoint. Why does such an awesom flick have such a crappy toyline?
