Wow I saw two different guys then what are shown here.

They were likely the VvV figures released to market six stores in 2008. I believe Ace, Storm Shadow, Baroness, Snake-Eyes, Sand-Viper, and Tele-Viper were included in that assortment. There may have been others I'm forgetting.

I'm getting sick of seeing these. They're all I ever see the few times I've been out hunting the DG Joes.

After thinking about it again later, I believe the "no accessories" assortment had Kamakura, Beach Head, Stalker, Dusty, Ace, Frostbite, Sand-Viper, Night Creeper, Tele-Viper, Black Dragon Ninja, Slash, and Slice. The VvV carded figures I mentioned before were sold at the same kinds of stores, but they included a few weapons. I saw the "no accessories" leftovers at several of the Dollar General stores I checked before finding the 2012 releases, too.

These are NOT those VvV figures. They're modern style G.I. Joes, and entirely unique to this assortment.

That's not what CC and I were talking about. DG stores have another assortment of repackaged VvV figures, that may be in some cases preventing the other Joes (that this thread is about) from being stocked.

No need to be snarky to TrekkerGI; many fans are confused and surprised by these. I have yet to find them, and I doubt I will, as many of the local Joe fans are already hitting the stores on a daily basis and the closest ones are 45-60 minutes away from me. Looks like it will be eBay for me.

I ended up getting the Snake Eyes on Ebay. He was the main one I wanted. I would love to get the Shipwreck and Storm Shadow as well but I'll wait.

I did double check, the one I saw was Ace.

Right, so let's confuse others more by "correcting" those who are sharing accurate information and letting people know what's out there. That's way better than being snarky!

I haven't seen the new ones locally, either. I hit several stores on a road trip and found mine out in the sticks.
