I've always been a huge NASA enthusiast from their beginnings through
Atlantis' STS-135, the final mission of the American Space Shuttle program.
Hasbro released its iconic Talking Astronaut back during the height of the Space Race era. How cool would it have been to see a series of figures based on the original Mercury Seven? Not to mention all the various Apollo mission crews, especially Apollo 11.
But the Mercury Seven would have rocked most significantly given how these guys were
the first. It took some mighty big cojones to sign up for the Mercury program. Has anyone on here seen the 1983 film
The Right Stuff? If so, then you know they are truly Real American Heroes.

Gordon Cooper, Walter Schirra, Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom, John Glenn, Deke Slayton and Scott Carpenter.
Gus Grissom was one of the earliest casualties in the space program's history. Only Glenn and Carpenter survive to this day.

I know it's a long shot due to the various estate issues in regards to likenesses and such, but it would be awesome if Hasbro ever managed it like they did with guys like Bob Hope and our greatest military leaders.
