Eric Qel-Droma wrote: Thor was already Marvel's Superman in many ways, especially in the pre-Simonson days. It's no mistake that it's Superman that Thor's paired against in JLA/Avengers.
The Sentry's original story was entertaining and interesting, but actually trying to keep him in the MU proper and use him? I don't think it's worked out so well. Yeah but, I think during the JLA/Avengers story there was no Sentry then. I think he could have worked out if done right but that's that. Yep, no problem. I would have missed the X-factor box set as well as if it were not for the email I received from Toysrus.

Yup. You're not nuts (this time). The brain trust at Hasbro thought it would be a brilliant idea to sculpt a brand new Rhino and single card it, while shoving the Rhino that everyone has into at comic pack with Spidey. Yet- that Rhino is now my number one wanted figure shown...

MYSTERIO. YEEEEESSSSSS.
Only Vulture and Sandman left to go, and Sandman from just about any scale works, as he can change size. VULTURE NOW, please, Hasbro.

Hasbro, well done. You have my word as a Johnston, I will support you from now on 125%. I will still critique and offer suggestions but I will no longer belittle or outright complain. You have my word.

Yep, mine shipped today. No issues. I'm just glad it worked out. I didn't think it would sell out that fast, though.

Yay, Elektra. Or more accurately, yay me for not buying that Superhero Showdown Elektra like I'd once planned. I couldn't make myself pull the trigger on that X-Factor set. The Sinister and Apocalypse are completely useless to me, and a perpetually-incomplete X-Factor team isn't that great a temptation. THAT said...it'll be available in-store at some point in case I get non-buyer's remorse, right?

I don't mean to nag, but I really would recommend SHS Beast as the answer to the "incomplete" problem here. Personally, I'd much rather see the blue/red/no-fur X-Factor #5 Beast, but I can make a very nice-looking X-Factor #1 team using this set and SHS Beast.
And take it from me, who owned SHS Elektra for a year or so and was not even a little tempted to take her out of the package: She was U-G-L-Y, she ain't got no alibi, she's UGLY.

In practice, I'll quit the hobby before I pay the prices he goes for on eBay. As for human-looking Beasts, I think I'd actually prefer the brown and yellow costume to go with this set.
