After seeing the close-up pictures, I have slightly changed my stance.
Archangel is worth a re-purchase. Is that new leg articulation?
I still don't need another Sentry, but this one puts the Toy Biz one to shame.
Iron Fist looks good. I like the head sculpt. If the actual release retains the gold paint, I may be tempted when I see it on the pegs.
If X-Force costume Deadpool fits in with the other ML X-Force figures, I may buy him. But didn't we just get a regular Deadpool in a two pack???
Mystique is ugly. C'mon Hasbro, you are better than that. That's two ugly females in a row.
I like Dani overall --she is decent, not great -- but I don't like the choice of costume.
No Punisher, regular Deadpool or variant Dr. Doom or USAgent for me! I may get Blade.
So far, it is underwhelming. I am not excited by anything I have seen, brand new or previously shown.

More like the new suck. I like all the figures in wave 3 except for Deadpool. I feel no compulsion to complete an X-Force team. Especially if I can't get the SDCC one.

I'm gonna take up the minority opinion here: between Hasbro's terrible distribution and their variants making things even harder, I'm not all that fussed about losing the BAFs. It just adds an extra dimension to the headache of toy hunting, which the current DKR Movie masters are currently demonstrating. I hope they're not gone forever, but I can use a break.
Plus, now I can more easily pick and choose among this deluge of re-done characters we're getting. I'm free from the bonds of Mystique, Doom, Archangel, Sentry, and what I can only assume is a WWII or Ultimate Cap.
And thank god they're spacing them out the way they are. The next wave gives us time to recover from SDCC expenses, and then there's not another one to worry about until after the havoc of Christmas.
I can dig why people may be disappointed, but that's a decent number of positives for me.

i'm thrilled with USAgent and think that iron fist looks pretty great (though i wouldve preferred flat palm-strike hand instead of ditko hand).

I've been wanting a modern-costume Iron Fist for a long time now, and might buy my first Marvel Legends figure in several years. I just wish it was green and yellow instead of white and gold, but it beats the open shirt/high collar/slippers version Toy Biz made.
Trying to figure out what version of Captain America that is, in the tactical vest. It actually looks good, and I still don't have a decent Cap.

By the way, talked to the Hasbro Marvel guy last night. The build a figure is NOT gone for good. It just missed wave 3 because of a glitch in the development cycle.

Well, that's... news! I'm not sure if it's good or bad news since I am not sure which I prefer: a BAF and buying all figures to make it, or no BAF and being able to pick and choose which figures I want. I wish they'd replace those Avengers stands in Series 3 with the stands they use for their Con displays.

I'll only celebrate if we get the rest of the Squadron Supreme... even if Power Princess has to have clothes on!

I think he can stand alone as a baddie. I've always liked him better that way. An evil Superman for the rest of the MU to beat up on! I think he's our BAF for Wave 4.

I agree about the standalone baddie, but don't think he's a BAF. I think he's the reason we're getting a seemingly-random new Sentry.

Yeah, I loved his run in Exiles. Awesome book until they realized they had a hit and started screwing with it.
