Anyone see the upgraded Super Hero Squad figure line? It's gonna be called Marvel Superhero Adventures now and they are posable like the Imaginext DC Superfriends line is... I personally like them and will buy them, they are also doing Transformers and Star Wars line like that as well... what do you all think?

Webslinger Hate it-I consider it a downgrade (and I prefer the action league to the Imaginext as well)- I think the Superhero squad had awesome scuplts- and the array of character we got was amazing-which will change to the more generic style (the body styles make the possibilites of more unique and dynamic characters probably being ruled out)- and the fact that this was done just so Hasbro can go back to the well and start over with the basic characters once again. And I hate it even more inthe galactic hero line-- the only good thing coming out of it is we may get some of the star wars vehicled that are still begin modleled on the Galactic Hero Scale. Anytime Hasbro follows Mattel's lead-- its a bad business decision.. I dont see why they couldn't have kept with the old style. Plus the fact that there were so many sculpted characters we will probably never see released now-- -

I actually like these and will get the Marvel and any Star Wars circa A New Hope. Galactic Heroes had a nice run but all things must eventually come to an end.
I do hope they get a little more mileage out of Superhero Squad but honestly I don't see it going past this group of Summer Marvel movies.

Well there is an Avengers movie next year and possibly another Iron Man and a War Machine spin-off movie.

Webslinger Yes but will they want to make all new SHS figs for those movies or push the new product? I just see them scrapping SHS after this summer to concentrate on the MSA line.

SHS 2 packs are clearanced for $1.96 at my Target, alas they only have Captain Marvel and Thanos left... but that means we should be getting new stock on the shelf soon hopefully. Webslinger

I have to admit they have a cuteness to them, I might pick up some of the Star Wars (however, only the ones that are from the Original Movies - the other movies suck ass).
And most probably any Cosmic Based Marvel Characters.

I am sure they will be, because they don't have the same name... the new name of the line is Marvel's Superhero Adventures.

Sort of... they took the line and redisgned them to look more like that of the Imaginext DC Superfriends line which is quite popular. The figures look great and the playsets look cool too. Also they have given the same treatment to Transformers and Star Wars... If you like DC Superfriends then you'll like Marvel Superhero Adventures!!! Webslinger

Yeah all I have seen at Wal-Mart and Target are the Thor/Captain America 3 packs, and that makes sense since Thor is out now and Captain America will be out in August. We probably won't see the new line til later on this year, but I hope we will get them at least by summers end.
