I'm torn on that end. I really like the original, but I understand why they'd upgrade it. Plus it makes sense with the BAF being Iron Monger.
Still would rather have new characters/armors, though.

Well Shellhead yo did get one right in your original list. The Heroic Age armor is a new sculpt, so I'm in for that one. Looks nice too. The repaints/redecos don't do it for me. I hope at least one of the remaining 3 is a new sculpt. As for which one I'm hoping for, it's a longshot but I'm hoping to get something really weird and unique: Like the SKIN armor: or the Ablative armor: Those would make awesome toys and really put some more variety into the armors on the shelf. (all due thanks to the always awesome Iron Man Armory for the ppics)

Target had put out some of those 20.00 monstrosities tonight.. Not the marvel legends-- but the bigger hunks of plastic with the lights and sounds and a few points of POA-- saw Iron Patriot and some more of the normal red and golds-- so I guess they will all start hitting in stride right after toy fair... I think it was these things http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... =HMVA1707A

Okay, I'm a bit behind/lost with these... Are any of these figures "movie" figures or are they all just comic versions?

Picked up Iron Patriot last night at Target-- 14.99
Had all of their iron man 3 merchandise out- no MU equivilient line-- everything we've seen sneaks of is all they had-- the more generic cheap carded figures-- and the assemble armor figures- was all that was their for the 3-3/4 line

He has War Machine, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and a few others from The Avengers line. Hulk kind of freaks him out for some reason, but I'm working on that one. One man's snack is another one's meal.

According to toy news international, the second wave is:
Armor 42, Movie Iron Patriot, and Classic Ultron.
Somewhat uninspired IMHO.
I got the Marvel Select Ultron, so I'm not nearly as excited about Ultron as I would have been a couple months ago.

Mmm. On the whole, this Iron Man Legends feels like a bit of a disappointment. The only ones I'm really into are Iron Monger and the Bleeding Edge armor.
Ultron could be cool, but I was also thinking about getting the Select version, so it would have to be fantastic to make me care.
Movie armors, fine, but I'm not getting worked up over them. Comic Iron Patriot hasn't been relevant in a long time. And I feel like I just bought a Classic Iron Man...the addition of the Ditko head isn't enough to make me overlook that.

Eh, I'd give 'em a B-. I'm getting two armors I really want plus Iron Patriot and an awesome BAF. Ultron's a bit of a head scratcher, and the other two are lackluster.
I really thought we'd get another Silver Sphinx armor, so I'm happy I don't have to double up on him.

Selfishly, I'd have loved a new Silver armor. I never got around to getting the first one.

So what do we think about the lack of a Mark VII in legends scale? My only hope is Wal-Mart is getting the Mark VII as an exclusive along with a War Machine in the updated grey/silver armor, as they've had something exclusive for every movie in the 6 inch scale. Rhodey must also be War Machine in the movie, Hot Toys is doing a bust of the design. It would be odd for them to pass over two movie accurate armors after doing...everything else.
