Saw these at Target yesterday. Picked up the Bleeding Edge and Classic Armors. I saw a couple Iron Patriots, but the paint apps left a lot to be desired so I didn't pick either one up. Both of them are solid figures, although the Modern armor is bigger (and thus less streamlined) than the classic. Kinda ironic if you think about it. What concerns me is that according to the back of the package, Wave 2 isn't expected to hit until "Fall 2013." I was hoping we'd see them this summer (June or July). Here's hoping we don't end up with another Public Enemies situation.

Personally not happy with the lack of the Mark VII but less so about that than the lack of Black Widow or Phil Coulson. Granted, I'd be surprised if we don't get Coulson by the end of the year considering that he's the "star" of the S.H.I.E.L.D. series...

Part of me wondered if Widow wasn't held back for the next Captain America movie. I doubt Cap's suit will differ terribly much between Avengers and Cap 2 so Widow and Winter Soldier may be needed there.

I'm rather interested in Ultron, provided he looks decent. Apart from that, I don't really have much interest in this wave. I guess I might would get an Iron Patriot at some point, but it's certainly not a priority to me.

My Target finally reset this week so I was able to pick up the first assortment today. All the paint ops on the ones at my local store all looked great.

Iron Man paint is always tricky. Every one, gotta worry about the eyes, the arc reactor, and splotches of red on the yellow arms and legs. Took me a couple tries to get a decent Heroic Age one.
And I do like that the Classic armor from this line fits in much better color-wise with all my other ML armors. I'd forgotten just how off the one from the TRU 2-pack was.

I like the gold on the new Legends Classic Armor figure, but the crimson portions seem off. I saw some figures where some areas around the gloves & boots almost bordered on pink. Plus, I found it odd that the reactor chest piece wasn't fully colored; or that it wasn't as bright (it kinda looked sort of khaki.) Either way, the lite red on the gloves kinda makes the swaping of hands/fists with other Iron Man figures a bit more difficult.

Finally snagged an Iron Patriot with decent paint apps. So I guess I'm done until the fall . . . Man, I wish the 3.75ers didn't suck so much! I bought one that looked pretty cool to stick in the back of my display, but I regretted it once I opened.

I dont love the 2nd wave. Im guessing they put Ultron in it due to the Age of Ultron storyline?

Finally getting to see a pic of Ultron. The others are there too, but I really don't care about them. He looks fairly decent, but I'd probably still say the Marvel Select one is better.
